A Great Old Bar with good food, generous portions, friendly folks & A great Bartender Robin ! Check it out yourself, they don’t make them like this anymore!

Dive bar/hole in the wall/bar and grill/convenience store. Matt up in the bar was amazing! Good selection of beers, great wings – but the hot is not as hot as it is in other places…so a pro/con depending on how much spice you like. Cheese burger was big and juicy, with all the toppings. Generous portions. AND THE HAD FRIED PICKLE SPEARS! Building is a little older, but had a lot of history!

This is my all time favorite place to eat! I may be biased as I live close but when I tell you they have the best burgers you will ever have in your life, believe me! Every single time I order here the food is outstanding and exceeds my expectations. I love the staff and it’s so heart warming knowing when I call they know who it is. I am NEVER disappointed when I order here and I promise you won’t be either. Not to mention their prices can’t be beat!

The Market Street Café had great reviews and I was excited to go this past Sunday June 18, 2023. We sat down and immediately ordered drinks and an appetizer. When the waitress brought our drinks, she took our entree order. Fast forward an hour and a half and still no appetizer. We called the waitress over numerous times during this period and when she wasn’t avoiding us she said “the food is on its way up”. We watched all the other tables that had come in after us get their food but still no food for us. The appetizer finally came out but no entrees. I had my four year old and my elderly father all waiting to eat and to celebrate father’s day. After two hours, we called the waitress over again and she said “3 or 4 tickets weren’t submitted to the kitchen” even after her telling us that she had checked on our food and that the food was coming up soon. We paid for our drinks and appetizer and left without eating. I would highly NOT recommend this restaurant!

Food is cooked as ordered so it takes a little time, but it’s worth the wait. Are normals are the brisket style Ruben and blt. Everything is good we’ve had though.

Walking in, the place is small with a “local” feel. Our waitress was amazing, friendly and attentive. Many menu options, leaving it hard to choose. The tuna appetizer was tasty, cooked perfectly and the seaweed salad served along side was delicious as well. We both decided on the filet mignon, which came with two sides. Our daughter chose a salad with a burger. One of the steak was over cooked from how it was ordered. However, I find it hard to have a bacon wrapped steak and being able to cook it perfectly. The meat was super tender even with being slightly over cooked. The veggies had great favor and they gave quite a bit. Our daughter loved the burger, kids menu is definitely one of the best choices I’ve seen. I can’t wait to go again and try other dishes.

The food was very good, and our server was awesome. The 3 star rating was because we were meeting as a group of 9, so they weren’t able to split up the bill. That was inconvenient for all of us. Plus, I thought it was pretty obnoxious that there weren’t any prices on the menu. You have to scan the QR code to look at the prices online. What’s with the treasure hunt? People need to know what they’re spending, especially if they are unexpectedly having to pay cash. Dinner items aren’t an option until after 4 pm, another disappointment. I would have spent $17 more than I did if I had been able to get the crabcake platter like I wanted. The food would bring me back, but the operations will likely keep me away until I forget this experience.

A real hidden gem. I had their fried oyster platter and it was just way too much food. Piping hot French fries. Delicious. I’ll be back.
