I had a lobster roll. Wanted to get lobster bisque but they ran out. My son got the chicken tender & our friend got the trio roll. It was alright. They put way too much salt on our fries.

Some of the best fish I’ve had in a while! Reasonable portions and prices. Chill atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely give it a stop if you’re in the area.

My trip to Seattle was proof of a delicious destiny. I did my research and soon learned that, right near the Seattle Art Museum, was MARKET @themarketfishmonger, said to have one of the finest Lobster Roll’s in the city. My mind whirred with excitement, even while I meandered through the museum appreciating the art pieces around me, the knowledge that I would soon be wondrously satiated was all I could think of!

Delicious, fresh, and worth the price! We recently tried Luke’s on Pike and were a little disappointed by the cold and soggy rolls we got there. VERY happy we gave MARKET a shot to redeem our cravings! Their rolls were perfectly toasted on the outside, and not soggy on the inside. The lobster meat itself is seasoned well. It’s also hot & basted in a very fragrant and appetizing garlic butter . I had to stop myself from devouring the entire thing in 5 seconds The fries were better than expected and crispy too! Definitely coming back for more soon.

Super touristic place. Everything is quite expensive. Small amount of berries is crazy amount of money for it… flowers and other souvenirs. But so many things you can buy here other then it’s price. Also, in this place there is famous chewing gum wall. So that’s something 2x ✔️ to do.

This lobster roll was to die for! So I need to judge for the second time. But for the first time. It was fire!! The crab in a bag was good too. First time having soft shell crab and it was too good! Yeah it’s pricey but honestly worth it. It’s lobster what do you expect?? Service was good too, the vibe of the place was ok. The location of it made it feel less fancy but felt like they were trying almost too hard. But it don’t matter cause the food is bomb and I will be going back.

A very unique intersection of seafood (both east and west) with an upscale and modern bar that is sprinkled with a distinct Asian flair. Very mod-forward ambience but the bar is aesthetically pleasing.

Absolutely love the food here! The quality of everything I’ve tried has been top notch, they had fried shrimp rolls recently and are my wife’s all time favorite shrimp! The employees are also super nice and helpful!

This place is challenging to review well. Bottom line, the food wasn’t good enough for the price, at least given its location.

UPDATE 8/14: they changed their fish or the style of their frier. It’s not the same anymore and Ivars is better now unfortunately. Not worth the price anymore. They used to provide very soft fish, multiple fish pieces, and higher quality fish. It’s now a single fried fish piece and it’s not as soft or fresh at all. It’s stale and one of the worst I’ve had in Seattle now. Regret coming back and hope they bring back their old recipe and fish.
