We went to Market Grill for our anniversary. We wanted someplace nice, not crowded, quiet, and just all around pleasant. Market Grill was just that. We started off with martinis that were served with 3 olives, just as they should be. We are not big eaters, so we had salad and shared crab cakes, shrimp cocktail, and chocolate lava cake with ice cream. It was all very good. The service was impeccable. We are already making plans to return.

Absolutely loved it. The food was great. Our waiter was excellent. He was so good I gave a 50% tip. I’ve never done that before. Atmosphere was cozy, cool, quiet, and comfortable.

Went for my birthday dinner was blown away by the preparation & quality & size (so good I ate half before I took the picture of the appetizer )for the calamari appetizer and the mahi-mahi entrée boyfriend steak was delicious also

We took a party of 9 for wifes birthday. Overall experience was disappointing. I asked about the pork chop and was told by the waiter that it was big, thick and juicy. I ordered it medium rare. It came out about the thickness of a regular hamburger, barely a quarter of an i ch thick. Onion ring appetizers were largely in .mushy bread like batter. Calamari appetizer was incredibly small regarding the Calamari. Two guests had meatloaf in supposedly mushroom sauce. Sauce was dark dark brown with hardly a mushroom taste. Suspect it was just a brown gravy mix. All our guests were served Belvedere vodka in our drinks at an incredible $12 a time. When i inquired as to why, i was told that this was their “well” vodka. NEVER heard this before, ever!

Best lamb chimichurri dish we ever tasted. Served with cheesy orzo and asparagus. Also a chicken shrimp pasta dish with white wine butter sauce and garlic…fabulous!

Well we came for Valentines Dinner. Had the special. Not a good choice. Rib eye is usually the tender beef. This was so tough it was hard to chew. We couldn’t eat it. The salad was the only good thing in the whole meal. We took the tart, that came with the dinner, home so we could have the chocolate lava cake. It was chocolate but no lava. Just a chocolate cake. The wait staff was great, just awful food.

The place is beautiful the art is stunning. Visually this place is very nice. I wasn’t terribly impressed with the dinner I’ve eaten five star, my whole life however, this is I have to say over and above the best calamari I’ve ever eaten in my life that’s why you’re getting four stars strictly for the calamari!! (The dinner not so much,)
