Unfortunately, I just ordered a catfish/chicken wing combo from market fish! Who do they think they’re fooling? They are selling this imposter fish with this breading that peel off. The wings were fried extra hard. My people, let’s be smart. Until they they give us what our money is paying for carry your business elsewhere!!

Man when I tell you you Chicago has excellent food … I was visiting from out of town and my cousin said let’s go to market fish they have excellent fish and I love steak catfish and that’s what I ordered and it was so delicious and fresh everything was excellent the only thing I hate was that the guy forgot to give us well should I say give me my coleslaw because my cousin didn’t want coleslaw guess he assumed that I too did not want any coleslaw. We were able to get our orders and just before they closed and the grease was as if they had just changed it I’m just saying just thinking about that catfish as I’m writing this review is making me wish that I had some leftovers or could just run up the street and go and pick it up The employees were excellent very friendly and efficient One even helped a elderly woman that had a handicap to take her food to her vehicle and I thought that was very kind very encouraging to know that they are still good people in the world and even employees and business owners could do something for one of their patrons that says a lot keep up the good work you guys would have got five stars if I had a guy that coleslaw and my cousin said was so excellent that sometimes she said she just goes just to get a order of coleslaw that’s how good it is but I will most definitely recommend this market because I made sure to tell my cousin I didn’t want that fake Asian catfish this place did not disappoint I would recommend it over and over again but also don’t need too much fried food cuz it’s not good for you

It’s literally a fish market but they also sell cooked food. If you go please call in first, especially on a Friday. It does get crazy and the lines can be long but their fish is good.

Every time I order cat fish tails my order is cancelled. Why? Please remove it from your Menu. There fish is really good and I like the fact you can purchase fresh fish but this issue with canceling my order is very confusing when catfish show’s available on your menu. Update your menu please.

This use to be one of my favorite fish joints. However, this place has fallen off…. I ordered 2 orders of the large catfish tail dinner with a 6 piece wing for both and their chicken wings were spoiled. The fish was under cooked on one of the orders. I will not order from there or will I be sharing this as the place go. #YUK!!!! Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
