We have ordered from MLB for takeout on numerous occasions. The fish tacos are tasty. The octopus-shrimp cocktail, the guero loco and tostadas loco are all fantastic. Unbeatable price for top quality fresh seafood!

I got a green aguachile tostada, one camaron enchilado taco(spicy shrimp), and one pulpo enchilado taco(spicy octopus). They were very tasty must have if you like really spicy food.

They took MUCH TOO LONG to get the food I ordered out to me!?!? And during that time, I begged the server for some water because I had a few chips and hot sauce and my mouth and esophagus were ON FIRE AND IN LOTS OF PAIN, and all she said was, bottled water only is available!?!? In a restaurant? Really? So I regret having those tortilla chips and “hot sauce” because they don’t offer SALSA for them. I won’t be back.

Aguachiles verde is a must. Call in orders we’re odd and we couldn’t get an answer for a phone number. If they’re busy, wait time can add up. We waited a little over an hour for a medium order of ceviche (holiday weekend). Would have been nice to phone an order in. Still highly recommend this place.

The seafood is really good. Shrimp Costello, 7 mares soup, shrimp tacos, etc. FYI Do not event Rey the sushi there. It os not good at all. However, their Seafood is the best I’ve ever tried in the states.

Bad service, waitress did not speak English and was speaking Spanish back to me. Waited 30 mins to get my food even there was no other people. Food was overcooked. Not recommended.

This is my 3rd or 4th time here. Excellent food! Love the food and the atmosphere. They give you a small complimentary shrimp soup and it is delicious. My issue is it takes a looooong time to get your food. Which isn’t a deal breaker but it is inconvenient. My second issue is they charge a $0.75 fee I’m assuming on credit card transactions. I was not told there would be a 75 cent charge, nor was it explained. Now the 75 cent would not have done anything to our visit, order, or perception of the restaurant. However it would be nice to know about it. Still one of the best tacos we have had and we will be back for more.

Unlike what I’ve come to expect of mariscos purveyors around the county of San Diego, Mariscos La Baja is clean, bright, and modern; a comfortable place for a meal. The ownership is from San Felipe, a fishing village of less than 20,000 residents on the Sea of Cortez in Baja California. Although Ensenada is the Mexican municipality most associated with the “invention” of the Baja-style fried fish taco in the 1950s, San Felipe claims to have originated it as well. Regardless of which city you believe, San Felipe-style mariscos are every bit as mouth-watering as the seafood dishes and tacos I’ve had from places run by Ensenada natives.

The restaurant is messy and a little dirty. Their green sauce should always be shaken before use to get the full experience and flavor. It’s absolutely delicious especially their fish ceviche tostadas. I did have to ask for napkins a couple a times before they brought them to me. Everything is also reasonably priced. 4/5 due to it being dirty but the food is amazing!!

This is my friends favorite fish tacos EVER. He’s literally always talking about them so I came and y’all, they really lived up to the hype out here. You get complementary consomé and it was so good!
