Truly outstanding seafood and tacos. The shrimp tacos were the real standout for me, but the fish tacos are excellent as well and I am going to be dreaming about the tostada La Sicaria for a long time. Such a perfect balance of flavors, absolutely perfect for a warm summer evening. Will be back to try the drinks!

The menu in the venue is missing the spice level. The black and the mango habanero are spicier than the rojo and verde. The shrimp cocktail has zero heat. If you have low spice tolerance, make sure you don’t mistakenly order the first two!

Amazing spot for Mexican seafood. My favorites are the el gobernador and the craken. They are both similar to quesadilla: have cheese and seafood filling. The tacos is good too. I didn’t know the topping for tostada would be ceviche, so pro tip: choose either tostada or ceviche. The octopus here is cooked just right, but in the ceviche de submarino, you will find mostly fish and very little shrimp and octopus. And the aguachile is really good too, but super spicy, so order at your own risk.

Based on 2 visits, I’m a big fan of the aguachiles at Submarino. I couldn’t really imagine how good it was going to be when I first read about the place.

Great place to enjoy seafood. Order at the counter and have a beer or michelada while you wait at your table. The fish was incredible and I want to try the ceviche next time. The verde was amazing and the negra was unique and flavorful. Tuna Tostada was also excellent

Loved every single bite. Todo estilo Sinaloa! Best aguachile I’ve ever tasted. Tried out the mango habanero, which is perfect if you love a sweet spicy. The paloma was a little on the sweet side, standard Tajín rim. The tacos are all great as well. Will be back to try out more dishes with more people.

Finding great and authentic Mexican food in NYC is always a treat. This place is truly a taste of Sinaloa. They do everything correctly down to the hot sauces they offer. As a Michelada lover, so happy to say they make a great one. The mango habanero aguachiles are a must!

Just look at the pictures!!! Como se antojan…My parents invited me here and said to start with the tosdada. I ordered the Rosada shrimp and king crab in a Rosada sauce. The tosada is big and that’s why they give you extra tosdadas. It was so big it felt like I had eaten three of these. The shrimp was of good quality and great flavors over all. My mother ordered the agua Chile in the molcajete. When I took a spoonful the flavor kick in IMMEDIATELY the fresh tomatillo flavor profile hits the tongue first and then you get the spicy kick. The spiciness can be strong for some however, it does not linger. Again, the shrimp were well cooked in the sauce and good quality. My father order a quesadilla and a soup that he finished before I could even try it. They make micheladas and tops Chico and your favorite Mexican sodas. Next time I visit my parents, I will come back here. Muy rica y deliciosa la comida.

Delicious and fresh ceviche! Portions were larger than we imagined, so plan to share a few things for variety. Would recommend the paloma, especially if you’re preparing for a day of shopping.
