Got sat right away. Order was taken right away and our food came right away. Waitresses checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything which was great but one waitress skinny with long straight dark hair in a ponytail was a bit intimidating with no smile. Tostadas mixtas were the bomb with abalon fish, shrimp, octopus (big chunks), cucumbers, red onions, lime and house chile. Music choice and volume was great. Sign outside said cash only which I have no problem with but atm machine inside charged 2.75. I advised its our 1st time and asked for recommendations on drinks as they were not clear on menu. Same intimidating waitress said quickly “only bottle of sodas, bottled beers and michaladas” So I had to ask for sprite which was warm. I had to ask for cups of ice. But I did get the cups of ice quick. Overall I give this place 4 stars. Great atmosphere. Restrooms were clean. It was busy so it’s obviously a hot spot

I really enjoy this Mariscos restaurant. Never too busy, food is always tasteful, and the atmosphere is very melo. If you’ve heard of the term “hole in the wall,” referring to a great little restaurant that not too many people know about. I would consider this place a “hole in the wall.” As a recommendation, try the Tostada Mitotera. It has a little bit of everything. Add some of the own made salsa. Always hits the spot!

So far, my favorite place I’ve tried many marisco restaurants, my wife heard about this spot and we were really impressed with their service and great customer appreciation, they made sure we were taken care of, oh yeah the food was amazing the flavor was spectacular, I had the tostada mitotera it had pulpo, shrimp, aguachile, callo, and they’re in house seafood hot sauce was even better. I highly recommend this place, they also have micheladas.

First time going because of reviews & I was craving Ceviche. She recommends LA MITOTERA. $18 a big white carrier with seafood w/ 5 tostadas. Shrimp, octopus, abulon, more shrimp , tajin, clamato juice and tajin. I personally thought it was salty and to spicy for ME but I’m sure you guys would love it. I love lemon so I think with more lemon it would be great.

I happen to stumble into this restaurant a couple of weeks ago while doing laundry at the laundromat next door. I had the chilaquiles plate and was not disappointed! I was going to have the same today but I’m happy that the really nice man who took my order recommended the machaca plate! The food is great ! Good size portions and not overly salted just the right amount The place is very clean and great customer service I will definitely be going back and to try the rest of there dishes.
