The food was fresh, really good and the portions were good size. At first I thought the large shrimp cocktail looked small and wasn’t gonna be enough but it was plenty, I ended up getting a jumbo mixed seafood cocktail that was really jumbo and it had a lot of good shrimp, oysters, scallops and octopus and I couldn’t finish it. The gobernador was really good also. The place is worth a shot for sure

Food does not taste fresh. I bet they used canned stuff too, yuck!!! Do not recommend. Ordered “La coqueta” and got super sick, kinda my fault because it did look questionable. Also had some type of octopus taco that was extremely spicy, overcooked and the octopus tasted old and not fresh at all. Won’t be coming here again!

Awesome fish tacos. They have a lot of other stuff that looks good, but I love the fish tacos so much that’s all I’ll eat. I’ve been eating food truck fish tacos since surfing k38 in the 80’s so I know my baja fish tacos, and Rubios isn’t exactly it. There are a few trucks in town that are this good, but most aren’t and they all come and go. Hopefully they’ll stick around for a while. Don’t skip the white sauce.

This is the spot! The closest you will get to good maricos without crossing the border. I strongly recommend this place! Make the drive, you will not regretted. The servings are generous and hospitality is great. If you don’t believe me try it for yourself and let me know.
