Classic Northern WV Italian restaurant with great food and service. I had the lasagna and some clam chowder as an appetizer, and the flavor and quality of both were top-notch. Erin, our server was friendly and very attentive although she was extremely busy. I recommend.

Giving it a 1 star not because of the food. The food was delicious, the service and rules, had a party of over 12 and they said the meals had to be on one check, which in my mind is ridiculous, and on top of that a 18% gratuity was automatically added to the bill. Which I normally tip over 20% but since the waitress was automatically given 18 percent she didn’t care about the service. I got 1 drink the whole time. No plates for the appetizers, no extra napkins, absolutely pathetic, I will never take a group here again

Ordered take out… Meatball was great but i ordered cheese raviolis with a side of alfredo instead got rigatoni with alfredo. Not what i ordered or wanted. Very bland. Otherwise workers were friendly.

My wife and I dined at Mario’s last evening. I had the most excellent eggplant parmesan and rigatoni meal. The eggplant was breaded and baked to perfection. The rigatoni and sauce were wonderful. Our server Erin took great care of us and kept my beverage full. I would highly recommend Mario’s because of their excellent service and food.

I went in on a Thursday, ordered a lunch order of gnocchi. The service was spot on, and the waitress was extremely nice and “Jill on the spot”. Everything was good up until the point that I put the gnocchi and meat sauce into my mouth. I’ve only been to Mario’s once in the last 20 years, and I understand why now.

I don’t wanna say bad things, but my salad and food came out all at once, then my wife’s food didn’t arrive for another 30+ minutes. I was long done with my food before the other meal arrived. It just ruined our night out.

We were seated quickly and waited for 15 mins before anyone acknowledged us, as we were about to leave the server came over. The zucchini appetizer was good. I ordered a fish sandwich and salad on a Friday during lent, it was disgusting and fried so hard I couldn’t chew through it, I’m convinced was a frozen filet! Gross! The salad was wilted brown lettuce with a pile of cheese.
