I have posted a ton of reviews and have never given less than four stars. I have ordered from Mario’s a ton of times before while visiting my grandmom and it was always wonderful. This time it was anything but wonderful and I learned after trying to fix the situation, to no avail, that it was under new ownership. As a bartender/server of 17 years, I don’t like to complain. I usually only take the time to compliment, as I know how detrimental negative reviews can be to establishments. However, I ordered from here on GrubHub last night ($121 worth) and the parts of the order that I actually received, an hour and a half after placing my order (because I didn’t get everything I ordered), were inedible or completely incorrect. I ordered a cheesesteak Stromboli, with no sauce (that had zero steak yet a ton of sauce), mozzarella sticks that were char-broiled and were so hard they could be used as a weapon, a cheesesteak that had barely any steak and zero cheese, baked penne (which I’m not even sure what was given in its place) and two pieces of cheesecake (which they didn’t even even bother to bring). I reached out to GrubHub to complain and literally got no response and my grandmother contacted the restaurant directly and was told that the order was messed up because of GrubHub. The owner told her that GrubHub doesn’t communicate orders properly and she should contact the restaurant to order direct in the future (which will never happen again) yet, they literally choose to be on GrubHub. I don’t believe that GrubHub doesn’t communicate with the restaurants (only the customers) as the counter girl (who is the only employee who seems to be on the ball) wrote down the order she received from GrubHub perfectly. They didn’t offer to do anything to rectify the problem or offer a refund for the items not received or for the items that were prepared so horribly that they were inedible. GrubHub didn’t do anything to correct the problem either, so I don’t recommend either one, and would give zero stars to both businesses if I could.

The establishment should be avoided on Tuesdays. The dish of Spaghetti and Meatball was unfortunately marred by the overzealous addition of copious amounts of Mozzarella cheese, courtesy of the inexperienced substitute chef. The dish presented was unsatisfactory, unpalatable, and did not meet the expected standards. The amiable cashier took note of the inadequacy and I observed a verbal exchange with the chef to rectify the situation. The chef’s forgetfulness resulted in an unfortunate omission that was never rectified. That’s right, the chef forgot to remake the Spaghetti and Meatball. The cashier’s demeanor mirrored my own disappointment. On a day as special as Valentine’s Day, the experience was unfortunately lacking. I’ve had enough time to heal and recover from such a traumatizing experience that I can reflect back and write this review. The flaw in question has left me with a sense of uncertainty regarding the establishment’s ability to deliver a satisfactory experience on Tuesdays. I remain hopeful that the owner has taken steps to address this issue, but until I can confirm this with certainty, I cannot recommend a return visit on that particular day.

The best waitress in hamonton. Prettiest and always so kind. Food is ok. However if the guys at mario are reading this, get rid of the spanish one. Shes quiet and slow. I was disappointed when i came in for food and saw her there and not blond girl do better

In the area for the day, hungry and saw Pizza & Pasta, so I ran in for a quick slice. Good, fresh and hot pizza slice to go for me. Friendly and quick service. That GooooD Jersey pizza. Yummy yum. Recommended

Purchased two pizzas one plain and one with green pepper, onion and sausage I was looking for the condiments came home with large bubbles in it pies it is not the same after the original owner sold it. It does not even deserve one star.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I cannot believe how quickly this place has gone downhill after the recent new ownership. I tried to give this place multiple chances after the new ownership but clearly that was just a waste of my money. I received incorrect orders on multiple occasions. The most recent being valentines day. I cannot believe I thought that paying extra for a ‘heart shaped’ pizza from this place was a good idea. The shape was terrible, the pizza was very small, and it had NO CHEESE ON IT. How do you forget to put cheese on a pizza. Speaking to some of my friends about this, they didn’t get cheese on their pizzas either. WHAT IS GOING ON?
