Amazing food, the enchiladas were nicely flavored. The salsa was great and just a hit of spice for the perfect combination. The service was spectacular and very friendly. It was a cute and decorated adorable. 120% go there again.

Food was good. Service was substandard; they were more interested in checking up on those drinking alcohol at the bar than customers eating. Was served our food, but never checked to see if the order was good, which it wasn’t but who’s got time to wait 30 minutes for the server to return to correct it.

I went to both locations in La Mesa and Alpine. Both had great home style Mexican food. The Alpine location had a little more variety. Warm welcoming restaurants. Both had lovely staff.

Best Mexican in Alpine. Other local contenders are less reliably good as Marieta’s in so far as quality of food, service, and portion size consistency. This is my best objective take of all Mexican food offerings in Alpine that I’ve visited.

The wife and I ate here for the first time (finally) and we were not disappointed. The food was great with huge portions, and the Mexican Coffees were fantastic! The service was really good, expeditious and genuine with great atmosphere!
