My new favorite place to eat when I want a homecooked meal without effort. Prepare for a wait because this place is no secret. Folks of shapes, sizes and color clamor for this diner’s food. Not to mention inflation doesn’t seem to have hit this spot. Run. Go get your name on the call ahead list and thank me later.

Just across the Virginia Maryland line off of route 301 is this nice little restaurant called Maria’s Diner. Our waitress. Madison was really awesome. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. The food was awesome! It came out piping hot. The portions were very generous. There are plenty of other options on the menu. I saw pancakes that look this big as the plate on other customers tables. I will definitely be going back very soon!

Breakfast was certainly delicious. Served piping hot sausage gravy with two eggs over easy in a short amount of time. They said it would be a 10-15 minute wait and we were in by 5 minutes. This place is always packed because their food is that good. Don’t let the crowd scare you because your wait won’t be long. They offer a huge variety on their menu with breakfast served all day.

Ok! Here’s one of Charles County favorites! There’s definitely a wait if you are not there early. However, I just realized you can reserve your spot online so that is definitely a better option. The food was delicious as always. It was hot and the service was swift. The pork chops was thick, flavorful and juicy but the breading was a struggle to stay on. Everything else was great and the coffee kept coming. Parking could be better but there is additional parking in the rear. They also have a large selection of baked good for sale so grab a slice of life.
