We went there for Mother’s Day. Service was great. There was a special dinner menu for mother all day long with different variations. Stake, mushed potatoes and veggies were excellent. We also took fish and pies. All dishes were delicious and big exactly like in mom’s house. We were so full and took pies home for desserts.

Tried the Lemon Cream Cheese pie. A solid four in my opinion. Price per portion isn’t ideal but not bad either. The cream cheese portion was smooth and creamy with a good taste. As a lemon flavor lover the lemon layer was above average. The graham cracker crust was soft and partnered well with the cream cheese portion. May try the cream cheese option in the future.

I am in town during my vacation and was invited to a dinner at a friends home. Because of this, I went to Marie Calendars to pick up 2 pies for the dinner that we were invited to. I have always loved their pies and discovered that my friend also loves their pies. I was very surprised that Marie Calendars hardly has any restaurants open anymore; they used to be a great restaurant to go to. when i picked up the pies there were only 6-7 customers in the restaurant during lunchtime. I think part of it is the atmosphere there. it is kind of dark and dreary and not catering to the younger crowd (most people in the restaurant were in their 70’s)

We came around 8pm on Saturday and was seated right away. Our waiter was super friendly and decided to give us both a cup of soup on the house(the salad bar was closing and they had extra food). It was a nice lil surprise considering how expensive going out is now…. My boyfriend and I both ordered the beef stroganoff and fried green beans. They were both killer!! We got the 2 can dine deal-choice of appetizer or 2 soups/salads, (2) entrees and 2 slices of pie! We love the famous cornbread with the sweet butter

Went for desserts. Restaurant was empty. We were greeted and sat immediately. Staff was friendly and helpful. MC pie was exactly what we needed. In and out in 15 min. There was an old vintage feeling while here. Although it may appear outdated to young people, for myself, it took me back to when I was younger. I miss MC, and I forgot how much until I had my first of the double cream blueberry pie.

It’s been years since hubby and I been to Marie’s since we moved 2hrs away. We WERE going to sushi next door till we discovered they were closed for lunch so hubby wanted Marie’s. Great customer service by our server Jen who was on the spot with our refills and the cornbread was AWESOME. I’ve never been a cornbread person and Marie’s I can get used to. The chicken pot pie was….ok. Nothing to brag about. I liked Mimi’s cafe potpie better which is why I could only give this place 4/5 stars. I would have given 4.5 stars but Yelp doesn’t give that option. As expected, good food, great service and decent price.
