The best street tacos I have ever had! I’ve never had street tacos as good as theirs. Never dry & always full of flavor. They’re surprisingly very filling as well. I tell everyone about Maria’s. Also the prices aren’t bad either!

Possibly one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. It was so bad that it was honestly a life time experience. It was extremely comical how bad this place was. Nothing really had much flavor. Wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.

Wonderful place for a nice meal! I was immediately greeted when I walked in which is always a good sign. I placed a to-go order for the daily special which was 2 tacos with beans and rice, chips and salsa. The meal was a little over $8 which is warmly welcomed during all of this fake inflation. It was delicious and I will most definatly be eating here more often. Also, after I placed my order it was ready in less than 5 minutes, thank you for making lunch easy for me!

Excellent food. Among the worst service I have experienced. The girl who brought our chips and salsa literally flung the sauce dishes on the table. I said thank you, she just turned and walked away. We waited and waited so I finally asked a girl sweeping the floor of she would please get someone to take our order. She stated she would be happy to help us. Shortly she returned and continued sweeping with no explanation. After approximately 5 minutes a blond girl showed up to take our drink order. We told her we were ready to order as well. This did not seem to sit well with her. She did take our order and left. We waited for her to return, most of our group with empty glasses and salsa bowls. Another couple discovered we were at Maria’s, and decided to join us. The waitress showed up with orders. My wife told her our extra guests would like drinks. She rolled her eyes and flung her arms down in exasperation. The look she gave my wife should not happen in a place of business. Parents should not allow spoiled children into public places. I tipped my normal 25%, and explained to the owner or unpleasant experience. He made excuses for his staff. I paid and left, not to return.

This place was tucked away downtown. We had a party of about six. We all ordered. I got the spicy queso to go with my chips. I didn’t like it at all. I didn’t want to send it back because everyone at the table tried it by that time. I ordered the chimichanga with pico. The food didn’t have any flavor that I’m used to with other Mexican restaurants. It was kind of bland. The chimi was very greasy. I had the chicken and it was greasy. One of my coworkers had the beef and you could see the grease pooled up on his plate. He didn’t eat it. I ate mine and my stomach was messed up the next day.

The food was delicious!! We went at lunch time very friendly waitress and very attentive. Best food I’ve had in awhile. Unfortunately we don’t live close or I would be going frequently!

We love Maria’s! The food is always great, large portions, the staff is friendly, and the price is fair. The owners are so nice and pleasant; always making sure that everything is just right with the meal. We try to go at least once a week. If you haven’t tried Maria’s, you should!!

Salsa and chips were great! I will base my restaurant reviews on the queso because so many of the dishes come with that and it can make or break the overall food. I’d say 1 out of 5 on that, no flavor, no texture nothing. However, the main dishes were great for 3 of the 4 of us ( because we did not order anything with queso ). Street tacos were amazing! Cheese enchiladas however were not that great. And the guiso was more of a stew with larger than normal chunks of meat and not cooked down as much as were used to. Flavor was good though! Overall I’d say 3.5-4 stars as the service was great, it was a open space seating far enough apart, just missing some more lighting in the middle section! Would return.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The wait staff is amazing and the food is great too. Excellent crunchy tacos, great fajitas. My only con on the food is that the salsa and guac are a bit heavy on the cilantro for me. But that’s a personal preference and not a reflection of their food. Great place. Try it out!!

Just googled off the interstate and this darling restaurant popped up. The reviews were awesome, so we decided to check it out. SO GLAD we did!! Not only is the food fresh authentic Tex-Mex, its downtown in such an adorable setting getting a little Bostonian experience. And the prices are excellent!!!!
