Service is fast and food does taste good. 2 problems…. I’ve been served sour milk on 2 different occasions and I watched the cook putting cooked toast on people’s plates without wearing gloves. That’s a big no no.

Just ate here each of the past two Saturdays. Service was so quick each time. It was served unbelievably fast. I was curious how fast it would take the second time, so I took note of the time when my server took my order and my food was in front of me after 3 minutes. And it was hot! There weren’t a lot of people there the first time, but the second time was packed. Still got my food quickly and fresh.

As soon as I walked in I knew this would be a great place to eat. They were pretty busy but we were able to sit at the bar with no wait time. The main chef instantly greeted us. He made a joke about having to pay extra because we got the best seats in the house. Boy was he not kidding. It was a whole experience just watching the chefs cook, plus seeing all the food come out made it so difficult to pick what to order. The food was not only delicious but affordable. The next time I am in Salem we will only get breakfast from here. We are at the ugly mug and it was highly disappointing. Maria’s is a must! You can’t beat amazing food plus amazing service. 10/10
