My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Maria’s! I will describe my first impression of Maria’s in three words: Welcoming, Fresh, and Delicious. As soon as we entered the restaurant each member of the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We initially were coming in for takeout. After speaking with the staff, they described the menu items and were so friendly, we decided to eat in! When we reached our table we were greeted with a whole tray of salsas. We each got to choose our own bowl of salsa in the level of spiciness we like. Our waiter expertly described the menu items so we could make our choices. Then the best part of the meal, he prepared our fresh guacamole right at our table. He created it to our specifications. If was so fresh and delicious, just like our entire meal. We ordered various types of tacos and shared them: Asada Tacos, Fajita Tacos, and Ground Beef Tacos. My daughter had the Huevos Rancheros. The food came out super fast. Also the prices are very reasonable. I like that there is such a variety. A lot of the restaurants in town have a modern fusion menu. Here you can get burritos, enchiladas, chile rellenos, tacos, fajitas, with steak,, chicken, or ground meat. My mother is from San Antonio so I grew up on Tex Mex and it isn’t readily available in this area. I highly recommend this family owned restaurant. It is also handicapped accessible.

Plenty of big shrimp. This dish has mushrooms, bacon and pico in it.

First time here for lunch. The place is well decorated, clean and spacious. I was seated quickly, had chips and salsa on the table immediately and met by my server. The chips and salsa were good and I ordered number 11 on the lunch menu which included a beef taco, chicken enchilada, beans and rice. My favorite was the enchilada, the meat was excellent as was the white cheese sauce. The taco was good but was overwhelmed by sour cream and the beans and rice were okay. Service was excellent and the price was very fair.

Love the place. Could go for lunch solo, with friends, or coworkers. The food was fresh, tasty, and affordable. Huge portions but it was so good I finished everything.

Best part first. Good service. Really like the new seating. They no longer have the red tables. The salsa was the best part of the food. Meat tasted old. Was like you buy in the bag at Sam’s club or wal-Mart. The burrito shells we’re good but extremely small to make a fajita wrap with. Photos included.

I love Maria’s restaurant! I was, however, a little worried when I pulled up and it looked like the parking lot was empty because they’ve always had good food and good service. But for some reason, this location seems to be getting less and less busy.

Ordered chicken enchiladas with ranchero sauce. The sauce is watery and tastes like a can. The beans are definitely out of a can. The chicken enchiladas are only shredded chicken wrapped in a thick tortilla with no flavor. No melted cheese over the top, onion or cilantro.

The best quality Mexican or Tex-Mex and reasonable prices in NWA. I will only go back here for now on. I have tried them all over NWA, and this is the BEST. Hands down. Great staff and very clean.
