Had the best experience with excellent food and a relaxed atmosphere. We had the #23 steak fajitas with jalapeños and the #10 choripollo. Both meals were full of flavor and will absolutely be back. Great selection of sauces too.

I happen to be around Waukee and was looking for a quick dinner meal. I spotted Maria’s and thought, sure. I ordered #29 (two shrimp tacos with rice, beans) and a small drink for a little bit less than $15. Dine in. Place felt run down, communication lacking, food took forever (and wasn’t busy), food was bland and somewhat under cooked, Salsa bar unappealing and perhaps unsanitary, and small portion. Not coming back.

I go here when I’m craving street tacos in Waukee because we don’t have any taco trucks 🙁 It’s sufficient. But, I wish they’d let us order street tacos on their app. They have an online ordering system but it does not list street tacos? Very odd. To work around this issue, we always end up having to drive over to order, it’s a bit inconvenient as lines can get a bit long. But worth it for the occasional street taco craving.

Food tastes great, but make sure you go through the drive thru. If not, your take on the food might be swayed by how dirty it is inside. Also, it would be nice if the lady at the window would smile every now and then.

We met or son for lunch here today and left impressed with the quality of the food. It is fast-food style where you order at the counter and wait for your food to be brought out and the atmosphere is average…but I can overlook those things for great food, which they delivered.

Went through the drive through, and ended up having to wait for close to ten minutes at the window for the food to come out. Then once the food came out we started checking it, as we always do, and it took us a minute to do so as we had ordered a lot. But it’s a good thing because they forgot our chips and queso.
