Loved this restaurant!! Calamari as an appetizer….yum. We ordered the specials- pork chop stuffed with prosciutto and cheese, topped with shrimp and sauce. This dinner was enough for 4 people to eat– I’m not exaggerating! Absolutely delicious though. The other dinner special was Lobster ravioli topped with a few shrimp — also delicious. Can’t wait to come back. Service by Sarah was superb and the ambiance was very comfortable. Thanks for a wonderful dinner

Great food, great service, interesting menu that was reasonably priced for the area/experience. They were one of the few places that were able to accommodate our large group on a Saturday night. We had a great time and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to hold an event or have a nice meal.

Pleasant atmosphere and seemingly authentic cuisine just off the busier part of the hill. Parking lot on-site and familial spaces combined with good food. The specials menu is long and worth picking from but the regular menu is also all hits. Could use a bread service that stands out a little more and cocktails lack flourish for the price.

I discovered this place while searching for a new dinner spot in Providence and wow did it pleasantly surprise me! The staff was kind and the food was just delicious! The setting was just wow, I did not expect it!! I had the Carbonara and it was just to my liking! I would definitely recommend this place!

My husband and I had a nice dinner here. The ambiance is pleasant and the wait staff is excellent/very professional. One of the reasons that I had picked this place was that I had seen their online menu with gnocchi in a meat sauce, but when we arrived they told me they had just changed the menu and the gnocchi now came with mozzarella, which I don’t like. They were able to modify that for me and give me the bolognese with gnocchi instead of the typical pasta it comes with. I really appreciated that. The dish itself was ok – gnocchi was a little too soft for me (I like it chewier) and the meat/sauce were a little too salty for my taste. We split a tiramisu for dessert, and that was outstanding.

If you are thinking about going here, don’t hesitate. Beautiful restaurant with amazing food. We ate at several restaurants in this neighborhood and Maria’s was the best. The pasta was perfect al dente, meatballs were moist and delicious and braciole was so flavorful and tender. Tiramisu was amazing and the lemon sorbet served in a frozen lemon was delightful. They have their own parking lot which is a bonus. A+++++
