Awesome place. Although I got take out the service was top notch. Was greeted at the door and ask how many but I said order to go and looked over menu and made my selection and it was brought out in a timely manner ,fresh and hot. Highly recommend you visit for authentic Mexican cuisine

Driving home from visiting family we stopped at this spot for a quick bite, it was so good. The food came out quick, seasoned perfectly and piping hot. This is one of those off the beaten path gems in an older building. I get the feeling it does not get the love it deserves. We both had tacos, I had the pick 2 and my husband had the pick 3 and tossed a tamale in. All was so good. We’ll keeping this spot in our back pocket for when we travel back to see family in Texas! If you’re on a road trip or close to Stillwater look them up, the prices are perfect for that college kid life too. Don’t sleep on this spot, give them try.

My experience is very different from what I expected from the reviews. Let’s start off with the portion of my huevos con chorizo… My initial thought was, “Did I order off the kid’s menu?” Surely not though for almost $9. Secondly, the chorizo tasted like that Cacique junk you can buy at Walmart. Thirdly, I was never asked if I needed a refill or anything the entire time. Instead, my server spent the majority of his time on his cellphone.

This unpretentious restaurant had a rustic atmosphere, extensive menu, good food, and quick service. It was hopping but with seats available on a Saturday evening. I ordered the pork chili verde (with beans, rice, and corn tortillas); my wife had a bean burrito and mushroom quesadilla. The chili verde was the best restaurant version I’ve ever eaten because they simmered the pork in the sauce rather than simply ladling sauce over cooked pork as so many other restaurants do.

Mariachi’s made the food for my wedding last Saturday and I could not tell you how many compliments we got on it! It was the restaurant I wanted most to cater our food and they ended up being the best priced place we talked to so it made it even better! We got pork carnitas, carne asada and grilled chicken for 85 people as well as their onions and jalapenos that we love SO much. And what makes it better is that they are seriously some of the kindest people that I’ve ever met working in a restaurant and this is my family and I’s favorite place to go for dinner any day of the week! I honestly could not RAVE about them enough. Thank you to everybody on their staff!
