Mari Luna in Pikesville is a nice little corner Mexican restaurant. The decor is basic as you can see from the pictures. The food is pretty good. The guacamole is a bit bland. My burrito was excellent, and my wife’s Mexican Salad was tasty and impressive.

If you want true Mexican food, this is the spot. Definitely going back. Not pictured are the chicken enchiladas with mole. Very good. Enchiladas with Ranchero sauce are awesome. They also have outdoor dining. Adding pics of Birria tacos. Excellent.

The food is good. However, I did catch the cook putting food into his mouth as I was standing there placing my order. He looked shocked like, “Oh boy, I’m caught.” I can’t say if he washed his hands considering they don’t wear gloves while preparing your food, so I just prayed really hard before I ate my food.

Best Mexican !! Authentic, well prepared, friendly service. Nothing bad to say. My sister and I had the pupusas with cheese and pork and it was delicious. We plan to go back often and next time add margaritas to the mix.

Better than ever Mexican Restaurant. On a nice June night, we ate on the outside patio. We have been coming here occasionally but had not been for a while due to COVID. All 4 of use enjoyed our drinks appetizers and entrees. We had tasty and refreshing margaritas and sangria with our grilled shrimp appetizer (gambas al ajillo.). The sauce was especially yummy. I would recommend all of the entrees we had depending on what you have a taste for. The house salad was enormous and filling with added meat like salmon. The lamb shank/cordero Jalisco and ribs/castillas de puerco were tender and juicy. Finally the combo platter allows you to build your own of Mexicans favorites.
