Me and my husband wants some good Italian food and came across Margos. We were greeted soon as we came through the door with warm smiles. Sat down right away and served. Food was amazing and the waiter was very friendly. We will certainly be regulars!

A family restaurant handed down thru the generations from grandmother to grandson. and those secret family recipes to make the food flavors wonderful. Located on RT 16 in Griffin Georgia. A very pleasant dining experience. Very friendly staff, treat you like family, excellent service. Loved the extra touch of table cloths on the tables, the painted glass panels to give it that European Mediterranean feel. We ordered a large deluxe pizza with everything on it , a glass of wine, house salad, iced tea. The pizza was amazingly loaded up with extras of everything, nice crispy thin crust, lots of meats, cheese, veggies. The cost was very reasonable. Our bill came to around $25. Best Mediterranean around. The food is high quality, fresh crisp veggies, lean healthy meats. Everything is so good I have a hard time choosing what to get when I go here. Can’t go wrong with any of it but my favorites are the hummus/tabouli wrap and salmon wrap. Family friendly atmosphere to boot.

Finally visited this establishment on Tuesday 4/18. I didn’t know it was an active establishment because it always looked deserted. The service was impeccable, but the food not so much. My salmon was overcooked and while I wasn’t asked what temperature, others in the restaurant were. I said I was going to bring my husband back. He was excited to visit today without me because he tasted my pasta with “pink” sauce to which I had added salt and pepper. I didn’t discourage him from going without me today because he wanted spaghetti and meatballs but got spaghetti and meat sauce to which he also had to add salt and pepper to taste. We won’t give up and will likely try again, but I shouldn’t have to go home and season my salmon and pasta. The bread and salad were great. The owner and his mother were THE sweetest. We’ll likely be back.

Margo’s was amazing! I had the shells and cheese with a Greek Salad. The dressing tastes like it is made from scratch and the entire meal is top notch! The outside doesn’t seem fancy but the inside of this restaurant as well as the employees are outstanding! Five Stars for out-of-this-world dining done right!

Whether it’s the chicken lasagna, homemade hummus, pita bread, tabouli, the pesto salmon, and/or Chip’s chicken– you will not go wrong! For YEARS, the amazing food has been consistently good and great quality. Pierre and his people are always so pleasant, and they make you feel like family when in Margo’s.
