First time here with the husband. Upon walking in, we weren’t sure if we needed to be seated by a staff member or if we were to see it or so. Student there like a bunch of dummies for a few minutes and then decided to just grab a table ourselves. Seems like the regular get better service than the non-regulars. Felt like that in our case anyways. We constantly had to flag down somebody to get something for us and when we ask for something it took forever for them to get it to us. Case point we ordered our drinks. He got a frozen margarita and I ordered a sweet tea. I immediately asked for a straw when the tea was set in front of me and proceeded to wait and wait and wait and wait. Waiter never came back with my straw fly down. Another staff member who was walking by and asked her for a straw. Took a while but she eventually brought me a straw with her hands full of drinks and other stuff for another table so the service was very lacking. As for our waiter, not sure what was going on. There seem to be three or four staff members handling the tables yet at the stated before it took forever for us to receive anything that we requested.

The food was so good, my husband and I ate every bite and were actually sad it was over (and completely stuffed) Our waiter was really friendly and attentive. Very good experience!

Their food is excellent, service is friendly and fast! Beer IS COLD and the atmosphere is family friendly. The music is not too loud. You can carry on a conversation without shouting at each other. One of my favorite restaurants.

The waitress was distant. Had to catch her to get straws and she never got us salt for our chips. Queso was worse than any I’ve ever had and was cold and lumpy. Salsa and green sauce they give you were so watered down that it would not stay on the chip. Chips were ok. I ordered Tacos al carbon. The steak was top notch but the tortillas they served it in was old and falling apart. They ought to be ashamed of serving that dish. Such a waste of good steak with those tortillas. This food isn’t even TexMex. Honestly you have to have no knowledge of real Mexican food or good TexMex to even think this food is edible. I don’t ever review restaurants with good or bad reviews but I was compelled to warn people of this lackluster restaurant. And when we were paying to leave the lady up front where you pay was rude to my wife. She never looked up and threw the receipt as her after paying. My wife said have a good night and she ignored us. NEVER going back. To many outstanding places for Mexican food in Tyler than to settle for food worse than a microwavable dish. Be warned.

We love this restaurant. The salsa is really spicy and delicious. They have a green sauce and a red salsa. Very good. The entrees are very good. The food has always been fresh. I usually get iced tea but I recently tried a watermelon drink (non alcoholic) that’s very good and refreshing.

We have dined at this restaurant many times. It was our go to place for Mexican food and Tyler however tonight night my husband my mother and myself stopped in for dinner my husband ordered fajitas my mother and I each had a chicken chimichangas The chicken was spoiled spoiled we asked the waitress to exchange it for beef she said she would have to get the manager a lady came to the table I assume she was the manager and told us that they didn’t take food back and that we would have to purchase something to replace it in addition to paying for the spoiled entrées. We told her we were just not eating it. At the checkout my husband said neither my wife nor my mother-in-law ate any of their chimichanga I don’t feel like we should be charged for something that is not edible the lady after a few minutes decided to give us 50% off of one of them and we ended up paying full price for the other we did not get so much as we’re sorry I hope you come back give us another chance the lady was actually quite rude. We never had this happen there before however they won’t do it to us again because we will not be returning and I would not recommend them to anyone for one thing if you have spoiled chicken in your kitchen you’re not rotating your food very well therefore I was being generous by giving them one star

I enjoyed the beef enchiladas. The salsa and guacamole sauce were very tasty. The service was excellent, and the restaurant has a cheerful, local mom & pop feel to it. Definitely recommend.

The food was really good and it was a fun little restaurant. The waitress was not very attentive though which would normally not bother me but there were only 3 other people there, so it was hardly a packed house. Otherwise, it’s a good little joint!

We enjoyed our lunch so much today. He had Chicken Fajitas and I enjoyed a lunch platter with a Cheese Enchilada, a Pork Tamale, Beef Taco & Rice and refried Beans. Everything was so tasty! They are so kind and helpful and the food came out quickly and hot too.
