It’s frustrating that the Avon website is so bad compared to the Mooresville website. That might sound funny but it’s true. The Avon Marco’s Pizza for whatever reason doesn’t use the official Marco’s Pizza website for ordering… which might not sound like a big deal, but it means whenever I get an email with a deal in it – that deal never seems to work on the Avon Marco’s website but it will work if I order from the Mooresville Marco’s. So from now on I will not be ordering from the Avon Marco’s Pizza. The Mooresville Marco’s can thank the Avon Marco’s website for why they will be getting my business from now on.

Very good pizza. I did go in a couple of times and one girl was extremely helpful happy and quick to help as I needed help with app and the codes for my pizza. Another time I came some weeks ago an African American guy was just not happy seemed uninterested in helping and was just not willing to help. I didn’t fuss about it I just walked away and sat down because I saw his mood not wanting to help. Overall pizza is hot and fresh!

I ordered ahead for 845p. I got there at 850. But my pizza had been sitting there since 820 so 30 minutes. Needless to say it was cold. Even if I had gotten there at 845, it still would have been sitting there for 25. At any rate, I decided to say something. Now, it’s later in the evening, I’m sure the employees are tired and I felt terrible for telling them that it was cold and I wanted a hot pizza. They were so gracious. Especially the cashier. He took them back and the woman in the back remade our pizzas and he brought them out to us personally to our booth. They could have been upset at having to remake pizza but I would have never known. Very, very nice employees!

Ordered online said pick up in 17 minutes. Got there and then said another 25. Delivery time was pretty similar so would’ve just ordered delivery and avoided the trip out. Got home to realize the thin crust was over cooked and basically inedible without chipping a tooth. Pepperoni regular crust was OK. Wings were OK. Salad was OK.

I’d have to say that I’d normally give Marco’s five stars. I like their pizza that much. The pizza I ordered tonight is no exception. Would’ve been especially tasty if hot. However, the delivery driver dropped my order at the incorrect door of the hospital where I work. The instructions were quite specific. Additionally, it is hard to miss the lit up red letters that spell “emergency” above the door. Honestly, that isn’t so uncommon. I had another staff member bring my food down, as I was very excited to get my hands on some Marco’s goodness! Unfortunately, the cheese bread I ordered was a bit overcooked, and without the only sauces I actually asked for. The drop in the stars is not because of food quality, but attention to detail. I’ll still order from them.
