Placed an order for pickup tonight since delivery estimated a 40 minute wait time. Arrived at 8:15 and got email confirmation that our order was ready. When I got there, I was told it would be ready soon. Then I keep hearing how a bunch of pizzas/food hasn’t been made. So I wait 15-20 minutes to ask about my order since they seem a little crazy and turns out our food was actually never made, despite being “pickup ready”. Finally at 8:55 I ask again on the status of my food because no one has mentioned anything to me. I get food at 9 and get an award certificate after waiting 45 minutes for a free small cheese pizza and free cinnasquare- which is nice but not enticing to come back. If I hadn’t asked how much longer for my pizza, I don’t think anyone would have realized how long I had been waiting. We love Marco’s pizza and cheese bread but this makes me not want to come back. Hopefully this “glitch” gets figured out. We’ve had longer than preferred wait times here before but tonight was not it.

I walked in and placed an order at about 6 in the evening on a weekday. This is my first time trying Marco’s. Staff greeted me, was personable and friendly. The pizza was ready in a few minutes. At one point while I was waiting for my pizza, there were several orders being placed/ picked up. I was seated in the lobby. A staff member come to the lobby counter from the rear of the store and asked if I had been helped. Staff were great and the pizza was delicious. I look forward to returning .

The GM called me and told me I’m banned from placing online orders because I ordered 10 pizzas for my work in the same day…. Let me say that again. The general manager of a restaurant chain calls me 5 hours after I order and receive/eat food that I’m not supposed to place orders online and that she told someone (not me) at my work that before. I didn’t order 50 pizzas. I ordered 10. And I placed the order early hoping that it will be easier since more orders would prob come in. We decided this morning we want Marcos. And now I’m banned. I’m just straight up confused. I just want to take this moment to apologize for wanting food. My bad.

Ordered pizza via phone. Paid for pizza via phone. Order included 2ltr drink which young person went and got, pulled out a bag and opened it up and walked away. I asked if he was going to put the drink in the bag and he said “No”. I asked why and he said, That’s not my job”. I said, that’s just customer service, I’m sure that customer service is in your job description. I asked to speak with manager, kid said he was manager on duty. He again refused to put the drink in the bag. Totally unacceptable. Kids today just don’t have a good work ethic. I left without any of my order. Will never go back.

This Marcos location is my go to place for chain pizzas in Hickory. I’ve ordered through the phone and online and it’s always been an easy process. Never been put on hold for long. They’re pretty quick with making their pizzas as well. Staff is always friendly during pick ups.

Ordered here one night around 10:52, online order. Was told to come by in 3 minutes, which was strange, but ended up waiting until 11:04 for my order. Didn’t know they closed at 11 some days which was my bad. Got order, employees left and locked door quickly after. Young blonde girl and guy. Got back to find the order was completely wrong (this pizza was for my partner) and the Hawaiian had tomato sauce instead of white sauce that we specified on the order, she couldn’t eat it at all due to her tomato allergy and I didn’t want pizza, so it was very disappointing. We double checked the order and receipt, too. $16 pizza…

Don’t order online califlower crust they advertise. Paid 16.99 for a small and got home and both pizzas were regular crust . I’ve ate enough califlower crust to know the difference. I don’t get it if you’re out just call and say so I would have ordered thin crust instead.but nope not a call or message just reg thick crust on both . disappointing to pay nearly $20 for a small that was nothing but reg crust
