We are from out of town and when we were in town looking for a breakfast place this seemed to be our best option. It definitely didn’t disappoint as the food was very delicious. The restaurant was packed that morning because they had an event called “tip a cop” with police officers seating people and serving food. They were raising money for the IL special olympics. They were interacting with people and even had some police vehicles outside to show and you could hop inside the vehicle. Anyhow, the restaurant was very clean and the staff very attentive to what we needed. Highly recommend it and when we go back to IL we’ll make sure to stop by again.

Took a family road trip from N.Carolina to Illinois to visit family we drove by this restaurant this morning and decided to stop for breakfast. We were not disappointed! Super cute spot! Food was delicious and well presented! Waitress was very attentive with little wait for or coffee! I will definitely be back on our next visit! I wish I would taken picture of the place! Next time!

The stuffed French toast was delicious! Not overly sweet with great flavor and berries. My friend had the chilaquiles skillet which was also good. I ordered a cappuccino which tasted very watered down, but the regular coffee was good.

First time visiting… we thought we hit the jackpot.. lovely place, nicely decorated, great menu, lots of great choices… took a while for the waitress to greet us. She finally did, asked her questions, and placed an order… A few minutes later, a woman approached us and said I’ve just been given your table, wanna order.”” We told her we ordered already… she checked and came back and repeated our order.. it was all wrong, so we corrected it.. from omelets to skillets.. ok, cool. Still no beverages… skillets arrived faster than beverages… but not how we ordered them, which made them not as tasty as we wanted… requested beverages again, ate and left. Would not return, but it sure looks like a lovely place with a great menu. Avocado toast disappointing! 1 slice of bread with brown avocado… really?

Great local breakfast spot! Not stellar decor or anything, but lots of food choices that are delicious. The place is clean. The staff is always so nice, even though they are short staffed right now. Many updates have been made recently. Not sure what they eventually want to be…it’s like a breakfast/bakery/cafe/slots that also advocates for dogs and sells dog and human treats. They do have a liquor license for mimosas, etc.

The food is awesome! The only reason they get 3 stars is because they gave me ketchup packets and little syrup cups. I don’t want to pay $35 for two people to eat two omelettes and have to squeeze 20 messy packets of ketchup and feel like I’m on portion control syrup. Please get some adult size ketchup and syrup on your tables. I won’t be back for that reason. Great food but you blew it with the packets.

The French Toast and the Crepes were passable,but not great. The Ham and sausage was good. The Crepes were over drenched with the fruit toppings. The coffee was not good. Not a great experience after my medical tests which I had to fast. Will choose another place next time. ETK

HAIR. NOT ONE BUT TWO. Waited 40 mins for food and found 2 strands of hair in it – a long white one and short black one which seems to be from a shaved beard. Server didn’t apologize and sounded adamant about replacing the meal. Overall, poor management, poor service, and gross food

The food was good, but the experience was ruined by the red head cashier ignoring us to be seated, then to pay, and when she did she had a look on her face like she was smelling a dirty diaper. It’s a shame because the food and service from the waitress is great. If you don’t like people, don’t work with the public.
