If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! I dined here with a friend for lunch and we were so impressed. All of the food was flavorful and fresh. We also felt like we were dining in an upscale restaurant, but the prices were so affordable for lunch! It’s a small, but very welcoming neighborhood cafe. Our waitress was incredibly nice and gave us good explanations of the dishes we asked about. The mezze plate appetizer is amazing and a very large portion size. Oh and this might’ve been the best Greek salad I have ever had! I will definitely be returning.

Quaint little Cafe with some amazing food!!! Husband and I both had the specials.for the evening. He had the ossobuco which absolutely delightful!!! I had the Fried blue crab served over crayfish linguine! The sauce was divine!!!! We also got a white chocolate bread pudding to go. I’ve only taken a small bite, as I am so very full from dinner, but it is very very delicious!!! A more upscale Cafe for sure, but the price is definitely worth it!!

Great little neighborhood place for so good local fare. Friendly staff and good food. The soft shell crab, veal picatta, and pork chop were all very tasty.

I can’t begin to explain the unrealistic service today. This place was swamped with customers and one server took care of the entire front room. It was amazing, food came out hot and the beverages never ran dry. I don’t know how he did it, but he did. Now, for the food, wow. The soft shell crab was insane delicious. It’s salty flavor smashed perfectly with the crawfish cream sauce over the linguine. Extraordinary flavor profile un that dish. The eggplant cake was remarkable. Full bar and plenty of beer options.

When we’re visiting back home we absolutely have to stop at maple street cafe! The soft shell crab pasta is literally heaven on a plate and the redfish was impeccable! If we could give 100 stars we would. Very homey and friendly. Will definitely make this a tradition. Thank you all so much for your great service and food. Your staff is lovely and we appreciate everything. What are you waiting for!?

Everything was delicious! Great experience and can’t wait to visit again! Cute neighborhood! So impressed with the food and service. If you choose dessert, order tiramisu…The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the key lime pie dessert. (We ordered both). But I cannot wait to go back and devour another veal picatta! The rating should be 4.9 out of 5…only because the pie was so disappointing after everything else was so good.

This was an awesome find close to Tulane. Varied menu with something for everyone with a New Orleans twist. The soft-shelled crab special was perfect.

I had a lovely dinner here. The bread and butter, the eggplant and shrimp soup, and the soft shell crab pasta were an absolute delight. The servers were attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Had a fantastic dinner at the Maple Street Cafe! A great friend that has lived in New Orleans for 40 years (lives just blocks away took us there). We were seated in the back of the restaurant due to max capacity which was great because we were raucously loud. Our beautiful waitress Tabitha had a wonderful personality and provided great service. I got the Soft Shell Crab Pasta, it was the bomb, nothing left on the plate. The fresh bread/butter and Salads were delightful as well. We enjoyed some authentic sazerac whiskey drinks and several bottles of wine (apologize for not remembering the brands, they were really fine but not as fine as our waitress). I would 100% recommend to anyone visiting The Big Easy! Bon Appetite!

I have personally seen how the staff is treated at this restaurant and it is absolutely sick. I came here with my father during what was probably a shift change and we heard some terrible language being used towards the staff. To say that this was supposed to be a more upscale place, I was disappointed by the fact that my father and I could tell the mashed potatoes were instant. Clearly they are cutting corners in the workplace. I know a greedy boss when I see them. My server was nice, but I couldn’t never support a business like this. The dirty dishes go right by the bathroom and on the same surface as what appears to be cooking oil where they put food that is about to go on the table. I saw this firsthand after I ate and wanted to throw up. Since I ate before seeing this, my unbiased opinion was that the food was okay. I had some bland pasta and my father said his food tasted frozen in addition to the cheap mashed potatoes. Im sure this restaurant used to be better, but for the money, it was basically overpriced Applebee’s. There are other options in this city for Italian food. I suggest you try those. I feel bad for everyone working at this place.
