Mao Mao is a Thai restaurant located in Brooklyn. If you are looking for a fun, different kind of vibe, this is the right place! I could have never pictured it if explained, but it truly is an experience. You eat while watching old Thai movies on a big screen, like being at cinema. The food and drinks are delicious. Fully recommended for an alternative dinner!

This Thai cinema and restaurant are unique! Come if you are in the area. The Thai traditional drinks and food are delicious, and the price is reasonable.

Hands down, my favorite restaurant in NY. Every single dish and drink we got was phenomenal. Full of flavor, hitting you even after you chew and swallow your food. Service was great, quick and attentive. We got a bunch of small plates, the curry and Tom Yum soup were great.

Such a cool and unique ambiance! There is a two-person seat towards the back that we were placed at and it was pretty tight, but it gave us a good view of the cinema. The lychee cocktail was absolutely amazing; the portions for the food were small but pretty good. I did find out that the place had been closed the week before we visited in December for health code violations, but hopefully they’ve improved them?

I ordered the food on the phone after looking for something quick outside to eat and I came across this establishment . The wait was not long. I ordered a rice chicken bowl with vegetable spring rolls . The food tasted fresh and I loved the sauce for the rolls ; very powerful taste . Would recommend the food to be visited ; it was a great surprise for me and my friend .

Come for the ambiance, snacks, & unique atmosphere. Don’t come here for the food – thought this was some of the most bland and overpriced Thai food in NYC. The cocktail drinks were also overly sweet too, (seemed to have no alcohol for the price).

Great decor, amazingly curated space. Food tasted really good, especially the sausage made with fermented rice. For the price point, the plates are definitely on the smaller side. great date spot

Very unique Thai bar in Brooklyn New York. I saw lots of people posting about this place for a while and today I’m glad I come. I love the decoration of this place so much, very artistic, classic, local, bring back to 60-70s in Thailand.
