Another good place in LA if you want proper Japanese food. Started to offer open-air seating since the onset of the pandemic, together with charcoal grills for open-air tables to help exude the flavors of the meats. Some of the most prized meats include the Japanese A5 Miyazaki Rib-eye and the Snake River Farms thick-cut beef tongue.

It’s been 5 years since my last visit, and happy to find that Manpuku still offers highest level of quality of Japanese Yakiniku in US. Their 2 Negi Shio, especially beef tongue is always a must, as well as others Wagyu style beefs and Angus beefs. I like their guts too, try Yuzu flavor.

We ordered 4 courses for 4 man(as price) we were 3 man actually. This was so much food for 3 people even if me and my friend are can eat much!! So satisfied of amount. And they cooked for us. It was good food and service. But wanted to eat slowly, i will ask next time!

Had a wonderful experience at this Japanese BBQ restaurant. Meat is fresh and delicious. Very fun way of eating. Great for groups. There are other Asian BBQ places in LA but the quality of this one is top notch. Staff is super friendly. Great variety of sake.
