One of my favorite places to hang out when I come to town. Huge front porch to sit in and socialize. They used to play music outside but not anymore that is why I put only 4 stars otherwise it would be a 5. They serve food and drinks and the staff is great. Hung out there last night with a friend, we had a great time.

The Merry Acres gives you a complimentary ticket for a free drink, each night that you stay with them. We got in late the first night, so I saved my ticket for the next evening. Once I ordered, I had a $2 charge because I ordered a brand named drink on the rocks. Then, when I considered ordering a second drink, my second ticket wasn’t valid because you can only use 1 a day. Don’t go there to eat; selection is pretty much non-existent.

Pretty ok atmosphere. I only go here to see my grandpa play music on the porch. It can get pretty crowded and busy at nights. A big plus to this place is that you can order Harvest Moon and they deliver it to you there at MHP.

The Manor House Pub is a great place to relax and catch up with friends. Joel and Allen, the bartenders, make you feel like a part of the family and are quick with service. The Manor Hous Pub menu is pub food such as sandwiches and salads, but you can also order from Harvest Moon, The Catch and Henry Campbell’s steakhouse and have it delivered to the pub. The drinks are never weak and the food, regardless of the restaurant you order from, is delicious.

Nice place but “pub” is small. Service is good and you can get food from harvest moon so that’s a plus. The best place to just go eat and dink in Albany.
