I absolutely love this place. I usually don’t write reviews but for this place I will write the best review EVER!! They’re so incredibly nice and always allow me to substitute or take things off! Their food is amazing I love the curry they had and spam musubi!! My girlfriend and I feel appreciated whenever we go. I hope they get more business from others. They seem very gay friendly, which is so amazing!! Anyways, we love them and will always support them :))))

This was a great stop for lunch as we passed through Salem. The food was great and if you order ahead you won’t have to wait, however, we did not but the wait wasn’t bad as we got there right before the lunch rush. They give you the option to have your sushi sliced or wrapped in a sushi burrito which I thought was a great idea. The miso has a great flavor. I ordered the Teri-Don and it was fantastic. There was plenty of seating and it was very clean.

I heard so many great things about this place and wanted to try it. It was a 1/4 after 11am and the door was locked. You can see them in there, but they never came to the door. I tried calling and no answer. I would suggest if you are not going to open put a closed sign up and let people know. Don’t ignore them.

I came in close to closing and knew I was asking a lot to put in an order that late on a Friday. They were fantastic! I asked for a curry chicken and 2 poke bowls and told them to put whatever they have left/available/was easy or convenient for them on the poje bowls and they were so kind. I got great food, authentic Japanese curry and even sone sides. I was so grateful. I’ll definitely be back but hopefully well before closing next time.

Native Washingtonian, very picky about my sushi… The Ocean Queen was absolutely amazing! Portions are large compared to what I’m used to. Highly recommend. Wish I was in town longer so I could go back again.

Cheap price with very good service. Servers are friendly and good quality of food. The dine in space is not really big and they don’t have lots of people in the kitchen. It’s better to call before you come here.

Excellent sushi. I plan to go back next time in Salem. It definitely has a street flair in the presentation. Makes sense it started in a food truck. Dining area feels a little like a cafeteria.
