Growing up in a Filipino household, I’ve found it hard to find a Filipino restaurant that comes close to feeling like home, until I found Manila Kantina. The food here is authentic, delicious, and the best deal you’ll find in Miami – $12 for an all-you-can-eat buffet experience! On top of that, the staff is incredible friendly, welcoming, and eager to help you. Mama Judith makes it feel like home every time I visit. She has even cooked fried eggs for me when they weren’t a buffet item. I also love that they have a huge selection of Filipino groceries so I can take staple ingredients home to make my own Filipino cuisine. I come here regularly and always bring guest visitors. With all the cruise workers that stop by, it feels like you’re stepping into the Philippines. You won’t have this experience anywhere else in Miami. Whether you’re new to Filipino cuisine or a fan, this place is a must-visit!!

Awesome food. Owner Judith was hands on. Kind and friendly to the customer. Very affordable food that’s very high quality. At home feeling. Judith entertained us as if we know each other for how many years although we just met. Do yourself a favor and make sure you go and dine there when you’re in downtown Miami. You won’t regret it!

What a cool spot, and the Filipino food is legit, as evidenced by the HUNDREDS of cruise ship workers who come over to eat on their days off. This is the best Filipino food I’ve had in the mainland US (Hawaii has comparable spots). That crispy, deep fried pork belly is something I’ll be dreaming about until my next trip. Be adventurous, and you’ll surely see some dishes you have NEVER seen (even not from my travels in the Philippines). Highly recommended.

First time trying Philipino cuisine. This place is a buffet but I chose to go for takeout. For $12, I got a platter with the favourites like lechon (roast pork belly), adobo, fried chicken, longanisa sausage, lumpia (spring roll), pancit (stir fried noodles), and steamed rice. The food was great, and the service was impeccable. A family run spot with the nicest people. It was full of Philipino people at lunch which means it’s legit. I would definitely recommend and return.

This place is so special. It’s the hospitality that is so unique. You will feel like you are at your grandmother place to visit and pick up a plate. The food is good but the owners greets you with so much love. The prices are reasonable and I spent only 12 with drink. There was chicken adobe, pork belly adobe, pancit, and lumpia. This place is definitely a jewel and you take family to this place for casual eating.

Probably one of my favorite places on the planet right now. I loved everything about. Admittedly, they have the home team advantage because I’m Filipino. But there was just so much about the place that made me happy.

I absolutely love this place. I stumbled upon it while exploring the area, and though it looks unassuming on the outside, there’s lot of delicious food, snacks, and other goods from the Philippines. The $10 all you can eat buffet is extremely generous, with lots of variety. The service is top notch; I was given a guide to all the dishes and was regularly checked on while I was eating. Support your local business and try one of the most eclectic and rare cuisines out there at an amazing price.

This place was incredible. The food was off the charts good and the family that runs this place was awesome. The staff was very helpful guiding us through what each dish was and made a fair bit of recommendations. Their recommendations primarily were to eat as much as we could of everything.

My new favorite restaurant in Miami, if not in all of Florida. The buffet has so much to choose from, the fish, shrimp and lechon were my favorites. Everything is so good..make sure you try it all! Super reasonably priced – only $12 per person, the quality is authentic, the flavors, unmatched. The people are so nice and hospitable – while we were eating they asked if we wanted drinks and took the trays when we were done. They also have desert and coffee. Feels like home, if I knew home to be the Philippines!
