I stopped in on my way to a backpacking weekend near Race Brook Falls. I ordered a slice as I waited for the rest of my crew. It was fantastic. I then ordered a sub to carry in for my first night’s meal. It too was great. The service was friendly and very accommodating as I asked for a few enhancements to help prepare the sandwich for miles of carry.

Friendly staff and extra bonus that this place has pizza by the slice, which i am learning is not a guarantee up here in New England. The taste of the pizza however is just average at best. their Sicilian slices are tastier, in fact I would rate those as high as 4 stars. The problem is their regular slices comes in at just above 2 stars. Its just lackluster in the cheese and sauce department. Today they didn’t have any Sicilians left so here’s the photo of my slice:

Good, solid pizza, but don’t let the name fool you. This is a notch below authentic Manhattan, NY style pizza. Pepperoni was a bit salty, but tasty. Green pepper was good, but would’ve liked a bit more zest. Crust was a bit chewy for my liking. Service was friendly and accommodating. Parking is available nearby.

Its a pizza place, nothing fancy but it’s a clean and comfortable place to eat with plenty of seatings…nothing fancy but very nice with outdoor seating (too cold for us). The pizza is excellent! I also had their clam chowder (I just had to try it) which turned out to be quite good! Highly recommend and way better than any fast food chain!

Looked like a traditional pizza place. They treat you just like family, the service is exceptional (I don’t say that about most places but I read some reviews and this is one of the few places that has replied to a few positive reviews with a thank you!) They gave us a mushroom & bacon calzone around 8 pm. They had it hot n ready within 15 minutes along with a pretty good size marinara sauce on the side. Perfect for my wife and I. Thank you so much!

I have no idea where these good reviews are coming from I got a specialty thin crust pizza chicken bacon broccoli absolutely horrendous the crust has zero flavor almost taste like tap water the sauce is very low quality canned sauce the cheese has no flavor I gave it a second shot and got a sicilian just to try that and it was even worse just pepperoni mushroom I actually put it outside for the birds and squirrels at $23 for a small I’m assuming because there is a pot shop right down the street the only way to eat it is if you are extremely baked on top of it it’s very dirty inside not busy at all the host/waitress is watching TV while tables have dirty dishes sitting on them. Only gets second star for using fresh mushrooms. Thumbs down
