This place is totally obscure. I got the Dutch baby with lemon custard and blueberries. It was absolutely fantastic. Explosive flavor. I think I made a little noise when I took my first bite. WOW! I can’t say enough about how good it was. The paintings on the walls were apparently painted by elephants in Thailand. Incredible to say the least. I really like this place and can’t wait to go back.

This quaint garden surrounded house is repurposed for tasty delights of Thai cooking. The first aroma wafts a message of nirvana inside. Gerry is a soft spoken Air Force retiree and Thai wife does the cooking!

We were looking for someplace different to go for lunch and came across The Mangrove Cafe. It’s kind of a hidden gem as I’ve driven by there countless times and wasn’t aware of it.

Stopped in to make future dinner reservations and couldn’t resist an opportunity for some authentic Thai food. Mangrove truly is a hidden gem in Spokane Valley. There is love in the food. Allow some time to enjoy the experience. Great place to have a conversation!

It’s hard to describe how truly wonderful this hidden gem is. Tucked away off of Bowdish Road is a garden with this boutique restaurant in the middle. The owners are sweet and adorable. The chef (wife) is from Thailand and cooks the best Thai cuisine that I’ve ever enjoyed in the US. Check the website for hours because while Yelp and Google might assure you that they’re open, reservations are generally required for the evening. You may show up to find they cannot accommodate you or they’re closed.

Wow! What an awesome place! Such sweet owners, Larry is so kind and his wife does the cooking and man can she cook! These dishes were so authentic, fresh and beautiful, not to mention delicious! Full of flavor and attention to detail. We had the spring rolls, salad rolls, Tom kha soup, almond chicken, drunken noodles and Thai ice tea and nothing disappoints! This is an awesome date night place or a night out with family. Get reservations, it’s a small place. Can’t wait to see the patio come to life this spring! Thanks for the great experience! We will be back!

If I could give a 1 Million star review I would. This is the best Thai food I’ve tasted in the United States, on top of the amazing food, the owners are delightful, genuine, and put their heart and soul into their business and food. The owners came out to check on us several times to make sure our food and experience was perfect. I had the drunken noodles and my fiancé had the pad Thai. The vegetables tasted like they were fresh from the garden. We inhaled our food, it was delicious! The cherry on top was the beautifully decorated restaurant and picturesque garden surrounding the restaurant. If you are looking for the best Thai food experience in the Spokane/CDA area I highly recommend the Mangrove Cafe.
