Casual yet great atmosphere, excellent food a great service. Server knew well about the food and wine! This was my second visit and menu is always rotated, and seasonal so excellent.

Went for high on a sunday. It was a good experience but way overpriced. The masala tea was decent – a little spicy. They were generous with it and did refill as many times as you wanted. The food provided with the tea was good but very small portions.

You can ignore most of the older reviews because their menu rotates quite frequently. I will say the waitress we had on sat night was friendly and thorough. And it was a chill vibe as it was busy but not loud. The food was beautifully presented. Recommend the samosa. The butter chicken is tasty but slightly different than expected (almost more like a mole sauce). The mushroom dish was tasty. It was the last day for the menu so like I said just realize the food will be different. For the inventive food, chill vibe and the friendly waitstaff it’s worth an evening out.

Really delicious high tea experience, maybe even one of the best high tea experiences I’ve had. 10/10 recommend!

I never would’ve been here on my own but I’m glad I did. The food was excellent. Our server was very nice and helped us select food items. This is also supposed to be one of the top rated restaurants in Chicago.

Service here is great; everyone that works here is friendly. However, my issue is with the cost. With $60 per person, you are paying a minimum of $160 (since they include 20% service charge, which I don’t mind paying). For $160 I would expect fine dining with ambience. The food itself is presented very well but tastes okay. You are really paying for the presentation. The ambience though is nothing different than any other regular north Indian restaurant (where 2 people can done for half the cost).

Excellent food with very unique dishes and flavors. The best Indian cuisine I’ve had. I can’t wait to go back.

I went to this place today and it was pretty bad. I am a vegetarian Indian – so two of my courses were diff. The first two starters were good but then it went downhill. My 3 rd course was an Aam Paana and it basically a mango juice. But the one is the restaurant was more like a chutney and not drinkable. My fourth course was literally just vegetables – how can I just eat vegetables? Then the fifth was some ice cream which had way too much of a Cardomum taste and a crepe with an Indian prasad which didn’t gel well. Overall not repeatable and not worth $60 per head!

Drink was great. Samosa was great. But had a clay pot that had absolutely no flavor…not to even mention a depth of flavor.

The BHEL PURI is unbelievable. So delicious. Must order. The butter chicken is also fantastic and the naan light and fluffy. Full of flavor, the dishes here are a modern delicacy. The service is exceptional and the cocktails are perfect. Great spot for a date or to go on your own. Highest recommendation.
