Outstanding service and my first taste of Turkish. Run it in. Different but exceptional. Worth the try. I’m American but I absolutely understand what they’re doing. Long Island tea hit the spot. Filet Mignon was tender and cooked perfectly. All the appetizers were outstanding. The best part was how everyone there made me feel.

Yesterday my children bought me dinner at a restaurant called “Mangal Turkish BBQ” for Father’s Day. You grill yourself on a charcoal fire, the meat was high quality, and my daughter-in-law asked if I would like to try the liver, so I ordered it, and it was very fresh. The waiter was friendly, and overall, I was pretty satisfied. I’m not sure about the price because I didn’t pay, but about $40 per person?

The owners and staff are super friendly at this large Turkish restaurant. At first, prices might seem high – but the size of the entrees (we got the filet mignon) are big enough to share with another person. They provide a delicious complimentary bread and olive oil that went well with a side of hummus. Turkish food is rare in the bay and I would definitely recommend getting it here. We even got free baklava and Turkish tea from the owners around closing time! I would definitely recommend this place for any size group.

The food was great! The place has a very nice vibe. The staff is super nice and helpful. There’s grills at the table so you can grill yourself like Korean BBQ which is pretty cool. The baklava was really good. Def would come again!

Great food. Great service. Great vibes. But I think the food is overpriced. The meat plate is sold for around $44.

We had the lamb shank dinner and karisik izgara per the restaurant recommendation. The lamb shank could be a little more pressure cooked. It a little still on the tougher side. Maybe because they don’t want it to shrink too much. The sauce is okay. It’s a dish that looks like it will be much better the next day but we ate most of it already. The karisik izgara is a grill mixed platter. This place specializes in grilled meat. They have a bar that just weighs and serves meat ready for grilling.

Tried this for lunch for the first time. We were greeted by super friendly and welcoming staff, led by Umut, who was also our main server. Another great server was Siyar, who helped us navigate the dishes new to us. We enjoyed the atmosphere with seemingly authentic Turkish design, though the music didn’t seem particularly Turkish, my daughter enjoyed all the cover songs of some of her favorite artists. 🙂
