Your basic Tex-Mex fare executed quite well. Enchiladas are flavorful & filling. Fajitas for one were fine (the beef was good & the chicken just ok). Beautiful interior & excellent service. Most people don’t get dessert at Tex-Mex joints (cuz there so full), but the churros here are indeed worthy.

Service was great. They were busy when we arrived, but the tables were turned quickly so we barely had to wait. The margaritas were also excellent. I got the cucumber mint margarita and my dad got the chili queen. Both were awesome. The food however was not as great. We got the mixta fajitas and there just wasn’t enough char on the meat and vegetables. The meat was tender and juicy, but it lacked the flavor and texture that I associate with texmex fajitas.

Came in about 4:30 after work, was immediately greeted. I headed to the bar since I was solo dolo. The bartender, Koran, was quick and attentive. Koran made a great Paloma and explained the menu. The other bartender also asked if I was doing okay. I had another cocktail, The bluebonnet frozen margarita…SO Delicious To eat, I had the Tacos Al Carbon, the steak was good, tortilla thin like I like them. Moreover, I’ll be back.

We usually share and today’s meal was no exception. My wife got a small tortilla soup, it was very good but pricy for the size. She also got a glass of iced tea, also good but pricy….are you sensing a reoccuring theme yet? I enjoyed the tres hombres enchiladas, very tasty and pricy, one cheese enchy wit’ chili gravy, one chicken wit’ salsa verde sauce and one picadillo wit’ chili con queso, the sides were very good….twice fried beans and average Mexican rice. The service was good. I notice if the cutlery has some heft to it, there’s does and it makes it easier to use/eat with.

I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. My husband and I went for the first time today and shared the beef enchiladas, which the kitchen staff was kind enough to divide. The food and service were the best! Don’t let the “not-so-frozen” frozen margaritas fool you. It’s planned, and they are the best, as are the chips and salsa. Can’t wait to go back. New favorite place to go!! Thanks!!
