The place is tiny and very casual. The handful of tables won’t fit in the restaurant if there are chairs on all sides. I didn’t care! People are friendly, including those sitting in chairs right next to you. The food excited me. So many of these reviewers recommend the lamb mandi! All of them were right! The Kebda (liver) was seasoned brilliantly. Don’t hesitate to try this restaurant. Just be prepared to possibly have to wait for a seat. It’s worth it.

One of the best Lamb Mandi in MKE! They didn’t overwhelm the lamb with spices but still packed with flavor. The meat was so tender it fell off the bone and the bone itself was soft too! Unlike many other middle eastern restaurants, Mandi’s serve basmati rice. I don’t know how they make it but their rice was pillowy soft and perfectly seasoned. The rice and lamb married so well with each other! We tried both lamb and chicken mandi. While both were good, we liked lamb better. Will definitely try again.

The lamb mandi was excellent. The lamb was spiced and tender. The Yemeni tea was delicious, flavored with cloves & cardamom. The chef was friendly and answered any questions we had about the dishes.

I stumbled upon this place looking for restaurants nearby on Google Maps. With all the rave reviews, I had to try it. I came at the end of a busy Saturday so the signature meats were sold out, so I ordered the shawarma on recommendation. Excellent garlic sauce and flavorful rice but the little cup of sauce in the corner really brings it to the next level. Next time I’ll be sure to ask for extra. I also had the clove and cardamom tea – very nice straight up or with a splash of milk and a bit of sugar per personal preference. My husband had the mix Philly cheesesteak and liked it – would order again.

I tried Kebdah for the first time. The flavor and spice were unbelievable and out of this world!! I don’t think it will compare if I ever try it someplace else. My husband had the lamb it was cooked perfectly and the rice was spectacular! We live in the Delavan area and we have promised that we will return to the Oak creek are just to eat here! Also the leftovers did not last long at all!! Please go and try!!

Excellent food and service. Super friendly, the gentleman working made us feel like family. And did I mention the food was amazing? Because everything was excellent. Our party order shawarma, lamb mandi and a burger for the little one. Clean plates across the board.
