My picture doesn’t do any justice. I normally have to travel to Brooklyn to get Jamaican food but since I’ve encountered this authentic restaurant, I have not been back to Brooklyn because this is the BEST Jamaican food I have EVER tasted and most importantly, the food is fresh. The service customer is second to none and everyone is so pleasant. I’m not sure if it the owner but she always remembers me and says “you’re the one that goes to church in Brooklyn”.

We met the owners of this great place when they were unfortunately broken down on the side of the road with a rental car. After speaking with them we decided to stop by the restaurant. My 10-year-old son was in love when he saw the fried chicken and mac & cheese. I ordered the ox tail and rice. We brought our food home and it was AMAZING! The staff here is so pleasant and kind, and take the time to tell you what is in each dish, which is extremely helpful if you’re new to this cuisine. I was happy to hear that many local places I know order from them and support this locally-owned business, in an area where chain restaurants and fast-food joints abound. We live about a half hour away, but we will be loyal customers whenever we are in the area!

There’s not enough stars to give!!! The customer service was outstanding. Shell had me tasting food to the point I can’t wait to go back for lunch again. You can tell it’s a family run business by the love that was put in their food ( you can taste it ) , the smiles on their faces, & eagerness to walk me through the menu.

So glad to have found this little gem. Delicious food! We ordered the jerk chicken, curried goat, curried chicken, steamed veg, plantains, and Mac and cheese. We will definitely be going back, highly recommend!

I had the jerk pork with rice and peas and cabbage. Everything was good, but cabbage was AMAZING! You cab have cabbage as a whole meal! Can’t wait to come back and try the other dishes! I would post a picture, but the way I tore this plate up, would be a disservice. Thank you!!!

My coworker got me oxtails for my birthday & told me mandee is her friend.. I said oh I’m gonna always support her the oxtails were tender flavor everything reminds me of the Bronx.
