Still the best place for Kkam-bbung Shrimp, Tang-su-yuk, and seafood jjam-bbong in KTLA, imo. One-star off because their Jja-jang noodle is not as good as it used to be…. and Gan-jja-jang didn’t have any smoke taste, or “bul-mat”…. Service is very friendly and kind, as always!

Absolutely disappointing service and food to say it lightly… Made us sit after an hour when there was little amounts of people. The food came out I would say suspiciously fast, the assorted seafood plate tasted and smelled old. The Kung Pao chicken was the worst chicken I have had in my life, and that is saying something. The dish which is meant to be spicy, savory, and a little sweet, ended up being a lukewarm mess. It had absolute zero flavor and spice it was like eating solid water. After we mentioned it to the server, she didn’t even apologize or compensate us for the dish (we had only a small bite). Afterward, we only left a small tip since we were dissatisfied with the service and food, but the server followed us and tried to confront us about the tip, which we explained calmly, why we didn’t tip a lot, before which she rudely spun around and with an attitude left back into the restaurant. I usually don’t write reviews, but this restaurant is truly on a different level and something needed to be written down. The one positive I would say is that the jjajang noodles were pretty good.

Very tasty Jjajangmyeon! Got the meat sauce (#7) in noodles. Probably my favorite I’ve tried in ktown so far. They have several different types of jjajangmyeon, but the meat sauce one was the best one compared to the seafood and regular jjajangmyeon. Had plenty of veggies and meats finely chopped into the sauce. Also had the pan fried dumplings which were amazing!

bad service! Have to call them for refills and when i asked for takeout boxes , they just bring 1 tiny container and i asked for more, and they just stare at your leftovers! I left a tip and one of the ladies that works there said: to little!!

Food is good, but it is way too pricey for the food they serve! I do admit though they give you big portions! I always get either Jajangmyun, fried rice, or sweet and sour beef! Those are my go to’s

I’ve been coming here since the 90’s and always got the same thing: Combination Fried Rice. I believe it’s the best in the city. However, the price has risen considerably as it now costs around $13. Everyone comes and gets the Black Bean Noodles and the Fried Dumplings; which are also really good, but my preference always goes toward the fried rice.
