The atmosphere and service was great. Great food and drinks! We had the Chicken Wings, Walleye, Cajun Shrimp, Oysters Rockefeller, and the pork chops. The pork chops was slightly dry and tough but everything was fantastic otherwise!

I beg to differ with the post below, i eat there quite often & the portions are wonderful. Dirty rice always has hamburger in it and it is phenomenal!!! Shout out to the chef, don’t let one star review take away your shine!!!!

The food was good, well proportioned and cooked perfectly. The flavors/seasonings were heavily on the salty side, but I think most food is too salty in general. I think the price was higher than the dishes called for, but sadly not unexpected for the restaurant family. It’s a small place, and it was excessively loud, especially for a Wednesday early evening. Not bad overall, but I would seriously take earplugs if I ever went back.

We just enjoyed another LOVELY meal at Mancy’s Ideal! My horseradish crusted cod was heaven on a plate. And my husband’s lemon oregano grilled chicken looked mouth-watering; he really enjoyed it. The wine and cocktail selection is very good; please try the Bee’s Knees. The manager is delightful and our server, Sydney, was very personable and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxing, as good as the food. We highly recommend Mancy’s Ideal.

Our experience was less than ideal. Soup was cold and couldn’t get anyone’s attention for 5-10 minutes for a reheat. Ordered one side.. they don’t have it.. ordered another side.. they are out as well. Crème brûlée wasn’t toasted because they ran out of butane fluid? Maybe we caught them on an off night but it seemed packed. Not sure what the hype is about. Just regular bar food.

Been here a couple times now. The appetizers, salads, sandwiches and deserts are excellent. Drinks are serviceable. Most of the entrées either were good or look good. EXCEPT the 11oz steak that I picked. The steak itself was cooked perfectly, but had zero seasoning of any kind. The potatoes were undercooked, the green beans were fine, but neither had any seasoning of any kind. never got the cole slaw realized later on. It was $38 and had nothing unique about it. At any other bar & grill I would have gotten exactly the same thing for $18 or less. I could have bought a 16oz steak, green beans and a potat, then made it myself but better for $14. I get wanting to cater to all but someone who likes plain food can ask for it plain. When I pay $30-$50 for an entee it sure as hell better be something I can’t get anywhere or would take too much time to replicate. So I would give this place 5 stars but I just couldn’t get past the New York Strip.

Visited on a Wednesday night, relatively slow, there was one large party but no one at the bar. Service was slow, but the wait staff was very kind. Food (for the price) was just okay. I ordered the summer salad with grilled chicken. The chicken breast arrived on top of my salad and was not sliced which did not make it very easy to eat. The chicken was very moist which again made it very difficult to cut into without the rest of my salad flying around the bowl. Also, the poppyseed dressing was clearly sitting for a while since all of the poppyseeds were at the bottom of the sauce cup. The greens were fresh but the portion of additional toppings were pretty small. Goat cheese was in scoops or chunks and did not look very appealing, perhaps fry the goat cheese first for a little crunch and improve the visual. This was my first visit. I will likely be back to try additional items.

The food and service was perfect. Also the girl with the longer blonde hair stopped at our table and told me how beautiful I am. She really made my day along with the food and service. I plan on being one of the regular customers.

The atmosphere was nice, our waitress was nice. One thing was our first round of garlic bread was not fully cooked (doughy), then our second round was kind of burnt. My Lemon Pomegranate Martini was delicious. My meal was good. Maple Pecan Bourbon Salmon with ravioli.

First time I went with my son the food was delicious. Everything was great. Second time was awful. Not sure if they have a different chef or what but portion was really small and food was terrible. I also ordered the Cajun grilled shrimp and the rice had meat in it. I don’t eat meat, especially pork. First time I went it had different kind of rice with no meat and it was delicious but second time meat was added. Everything was different. Why would you change the rice without putting on the menu and what is in it. I got sick and could not eat the meal. Can not make changes without adding on your menu.
