It was our first time for Mancino’s Pizza and Grinder in Ann Arbor for me. I had Chef Salad my husband had Italian sandwich and garlic cheese bread,The food was good but not great. We had the same food at Mancino’s in Brighton before food is always excellent there.

Best gluten free crust when cooked well done (no guarantee on cross contamination), I’ve had the best luck with the Greek Pizza. The staff is very kind and accommodating! It’s our go-to for movie night 🙂 They have a kids combo which includes a cookie and smaller drink with their choice of main item. Love it!

Veteran-owned veteran operated, it’s Italian restaurant is and its own class in Ann Arbor. You won’t find many restaurants the small that offer beer and wine oh, well also being carry out, and affordable. With varying sizes and prices of food everyone in the family will find something good to eat. Order in and enjoy the classic 1940’s Style posters and pictures and ads. Or get it to go and carryout. Either one you will be glad that you enjoyed this wonderful restaurant.

Usually Mancino’s never misses, but this time I got the turkey grinder for my boyfriend and it had soo much mayo on it it was just gross – I was embarrassed lol. Ruined an amazing grinder!

Had the best calzone of my life at this place today. Crispy outside crust, beautifully soft inside crust with just enough cheese, sauce, and pineapple.

Good food. Typical Mancino grinders, salad and pizza… as well as sides and dessert options. Order was correct and ready in 10 minutes. Good as always. Customer service is ok… nothing great but nothing bad, either. The cashier took our order, we paid, waited 10 min for food and left with supper in hand!

Do not pay any attention to their hours posted. You can drive all the way there, getting there 30 minutes or more before closing time, according to Google, and you’ll get a lecture about how blowing off customers that show up well before closing time (according to Google) saves their business $10,000 a year that they don’t have to “pass on to the customer” for remaining open as listed on Google. Customers want a business to honor the hours posted online and to NOT have to listen to a lecture about how you’re doing customers a favor by not serving them when they choose your restaurant over the 30 others they drove past on their way to be told you didn’t have enough business on a Friday night to bother to serve them a carry-out sandwich. They do put “hours may vary due to customer flow” on their website. In my experience of pretty much every other place I’ve patronized, googling the hours is sufficient. I don’t feel the need to check both.

Rude server argued over my request for a box for my leftovers because they’re “too expensive”

I’ve been to a lot of Mancino’s across Michigan over the years. I almost gave up on them because my last experience in Brighton, MI was so terrible. Manager was horrible to employees and to me as a customer. THEN I came to this Ann Arbor Zeeb Road location. OMG IT WAS AMAZING! Probably the BEST Italian Grinder I’ve had from a Mancino’s ever. The person taking our order (possibly the owner) was super friendly! He was a vet and proudly wearing his USMC shirt! It was lunch time, they were busy and our food still came out in a flash! As mentioned my italian grinder was awesome. My wife’s pizza was also fantastic. Quality food products, great portions and great people working at the restaurant.

Normally, we have always had good food at Mancino’s on Zeeb Road… pizza and grinders mostly. We enjoy getting a pizza and beer and relax. On our visit last weekend, we ordered our usual pizza and it came out with the cheese all burnt on top, we couldn’t really find our 4 toppings (Italian sausage, salamni, black olives, green peppers), and it was a thin crust that we didn’t order. It was terrible, but we were hungry and didn’t say anything to the owner. We’ve never had a problem for years, enjoy going there, and now this. We won’t be back for awhile, that’s for sure, especially after spending $42 for pizza and a pitcher of beer. Even our remaining half of the large leftover pizza wasn’t any better and we had to throw it away. I feel bad leaving this review but felt I needed to.
