Solid choice for lunch. Pizza was tasty (great crispy crust) as was the mushroom ravioli. Pasta Blanca was a touch too buttery and the optional chicken was overcooked (the calamari was the opposite – it could have been a bit more crunchy). Caesar salad was a nice side. Our server was wonderful. Definitely coming back 🙂

I visited mom’s kitchen last Saturday. I actually ate alone, outside. Excellent atmosphere outside. It was perfect for a little work that I had to do. I was sat quickly, and the waiter was very attending to my needs. I had the meatballs, a Greek salad, pita bread. And a lovely molten lava cake dessert. Everything was fantastic. Definitely check this spot out if you’re in the area! The outdoor seating area is really special.

This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants. I’ve been coming here for about two years now and I’ve never been disappointed. The food is always consistent and the portions are generous for the price. The outdoor patio is fabulous. My personal favorites are the beef and chicken kabobs, lentil soup, and the calamari is the best in town. Everything is always very fresh and the service is always attentive and friendly. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this place!

Mamma’s Kitchen is quickly becoming one of our favorites. From its location, one would never expect to find such pleasant, lush outdoor seating! Everything we have ordered has been delicious, especially the salmon piccata, which came with pasta and was devoured by my pasta-averse husband. My Mediterranean salad was the most fresh and tasty I have had. All this and great service, too!

Very good Italian & Greek restaurant in Alexandria! I got the melenzana, and it was very good – it was similar to an eggplant parmesan. My husband got the chicken alfredo, and it was creamy and delicious. The service was nice and it was a nice atmosphere overall. Glad we stopped here for dinner.

Mamma’s Kitchen has been a family favorite for years and somehow it gets better with every visit! The outdoor patio is UNREAL, the food is fresh and delicious, and the service is great. We love the penne pasta with the house creamy marinara sauce, the crispy onion rings, the trio dips with pita bread, and the chocolate lava cake. You really can’t go wrong! Thanks to the owners and to the servers and kitchen staff for the yummy food and the classy dining experience!

I will say upfront that I am half Italian and I am picky about anything claiming to be Italian food. This place was a major disappointment. We both ordered pizzas, maybe that was where we made our mistake. i did a create your own, kind of a Hawaiian style and he got the Meat lovers ( or whatever they called it). The first thing I noticed when the pizzas came out is that I could not smell anything coming from either one. No pineapple, no sausage. Nothing. The taste was even more of a disappointment. I have had better frozen pizzas, at least they tasted like something. The meal did not start out well, I asked about making a change to a dish, the server said it could probably be okay. We both had to ask her 3 times to go and check with the kitchen, i did not want to order a “probably” dish. I also asked to taste the marinara, that took 2 times before she understood what we were asking. Turns out what I asked about changing could not happen, but she did finally bring the taste of the marinara. Also, we had to ask 4 times for a refill on a glass of water. Which is insane. Also, they need to clean their dishwasher, the glassware smelled horrible.
