As always a delightful experience dining at Mama Mia’s. Friendly, helpful, waitstaff, large piping hot entrees. My chicken parmigiana was so big, half went home for later. It was so tender I never had to pick up my knife to cut it. It was flavorful and very tasty. Mama Mia’s red sauce is just to my liking and one of my favorites I’ve ever had in a restaurant. If you want a casual, priced right, home style meal you can’t go wrong with Mama Mia’s in Hanover.

We have been coming here for many years and it’s always been very good. The last three times getting pizza have been very disappointing to say the least. The owners should really start doing some quality control. The pepperoni literally was stacked in clumps 5 thick! Pizza was a soupy mess and we asked for well done. Had to put it in the oven when we got home.

Atmosphere is meh. Service is maybe 4 out of 10. Very limited. Tables are really close to another. Food was comparable to chef boyardee. Hardly any flavor. The “home made” pasta was awful. Not impressed at all.

Ordered chicken parm and the chicken was hard as a rock. Shrimp scampi was nothing that resembled any shrimp scampi I have ever eaten… it was spicy and tasted like red bell peppers. The tiramisu was in a container previously frozen with an expiration date on the container of 11/2023. The layers of the tiramisu had slid off from each other leaving sheets of frozen cake in one layer. Overall first time experience??? SHOCKED that I payed $100 for food my family couldn’t even eat.

What a letdown.. I’d placed a pickup order for an Italian sub, toasted, with everything that normally goes on it. The order was ready on time, but it takes the cake for being the most underwhelming meal I’ve had this year. I received an untoasted, ‘sub’ that had 2 or 3 meager slices of meat and a pile of sopping wet pickles and peppers. Really disappointed and definitely wouldn’t say it’s worth 1/2 what they charged for it.

Decent food but don’t bother paying $2.50 for extra cheese on your pizza because they don’t honor it. We went today and it was empty but the food wasn’t hot.

Been there a few times, and the food was great. This time the chicken parm and pasta literally tasted like there was dish soap in the sauce and not edible. I thru it out. Very disappointing.
