Perfecto!! First time having dinner downtown Davis and came out with a group of 4 on a Tuesday night. Really enjoyed the spacious outdoor garden style seating.

I really want to like this place. We need them do well in Davis. Therefore, my comments are aim at helping the management team. Service needs improvement and additional training. Food quality needs to improve. Pasta was not great or flavorful, and the Parmesan pasta was super salty. Drinks need improvement too. My suggestion is stop trying to make everything with an Italian twist and just deliver the classic cocktails. We are rooting for this place and hope they can fix the wrinkles and be part of the community for many years.

Mamma may be the best new restaurant in Davis for the past many years. The staff are super nice, the pasta is absolutely delicious, and the overall atmosphere makes everything better. 10/10 restaurant.

Great atmosphere. Something wired going on tho. Have a whole menu that you cannot order togo. Move you from table to table and so many wired policy that might depends on your face or whatever reason. Some dishes are good but some comes out look like it has been sitting in somewhere for a long time. Check the dried up green onion. Then the salmon looks like on the way to become a piece of mummy. Funny the restaurant name is mamma.

FINALLY a truly good restaurant in Davis!!! Perfect for a date night or place to bring family. Surprisingly affordable. Amazing quality and the chefs really know what they are doing. Service needed some work the first time I came but they had also just opened and the food was so good I didn’t care.

Went to the grand opening. The vibe was a fun energy. Bartenders/staff were busy but personable. Our appetizer and entrees came out the same time (but it was there first night and busy!). I loved the cod/risotto, burrata and bread. Will be going back!
