Easily the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. If you’re from out of town and have had real Mexican you will be disgusted. Nachos had American cheese sauce on them, there was a mayonnaise sauce that came with shrimp tacos which was absolutely disgusting, the tres leches was a really bad cake with no “leches” whipped cream and had Jimmie’s on it , the enchilada verda had this weird foamy green sauce on top which had no flavor and the chicken inside was dryer than the Sahara desert, rice under cooked, the Chile rellenos stuffed with American cheese. I could go on, but you get the point. I bet a little piece of the staffs soul dies each time a plate is served. Only saving while my mom agreed the food was disgusting, she said her shrimp were well cooked. Oh and the salsa is ihr the chips tasted like a cross between tomato sauce and salsa, very strange.

This is probably the fanciest Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. Quite unexpected but a great surprise nonetheless. The food was your average Mex-American cuisine and typical pricing as well. The chips were red, green and yellow, which is something I don’t think I’ve seen before and they have a little robot that carries the food which I thought was super cool. I definitely recommend and I will certainly be back even though I live an hour away from Edenton.

We’ve been to Mamasitas numerous times. We frequented the old building and the new location. The atmosphere of the new place is nice, bright & updated. The service is always good. The food isn’t exceptional, but is still good. I had a beef taco, tamale combo. The tamale was tasty, but the ground beef was pretty bland. I usually order the chicken, which I think is a better option. My husband had a chicken burrito that he thought was good. My friend had a quesadilla and asked if they could add shrimp. They kind of accommodated her request by bringing out a little side bowl of shrimp. The stamp on the tortilla was pretty cool. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Worst food ever. Cheese enchiladas either had fake cheese or some kind of cheese that does not melt. Awful! Margaritas were lemonade watered down. Not sure if there was any alcohol in it. If so, very miniscule amount. Every meal out of 6 plates was bad. Skunked wine! Had been open for ever.

I go to Mamasita’s all the time, and I’m always trying and enjoying something different. I highly recommend the Blanco, Mamajitas, Seafood Nachos, or their Casa Cheese Steak which is also amazing with chicken. The drinks are always amazing and beautifully decorated whether it’s something fruity like the Mamasita’s Relaxer, or something sweet and frozen like the Dirty Banana, but if neither of those options appeal to you they also have a drink menu with tons of options. They have a short menu on Thursday’s of drinks they serve for $5 all day. The service is always amazing, very attentive and detail oriented staff that check on you often trying to give the absolute best experience possible. I highly recommend you give them a try if you haven’t yet.

Love the food always and the robot is so cool. This last visit the sewer for the strip mall, I guess, which is right outside the entrance smelled disgusting. Otherwise, great experience as always.
