This is now our go to spot when we visit Athens. We have never had a long wait and the parking is spacious. Quick, friendly service. Food is well prepared and delicious. This go around we had the banana bread for a starter. It was hot and gone before I could get a good picture. my son had half stack of pancakes and bacon and had no complaints. I had the mill town breakfast plate with over-easy eggs, grits, bacon sourdough toast. I also got a side of the jalapeño bacon jam. Yum. Husband had the farm and said it was good he likes the gravy.

What an experience! Our daughter is a UGA student and recommend we meet at Mama’s Boy at the Falls for a late breakfast/early lunch. Boy was she right! The service and food was wonderful! We all 3 shared a cinnamon roll as an appetizer and had some left! My husband had the Mill Town Breakfast plate and thoroughly enjoyed every bite! My daughter had the Chocolate Cake for Breakfast and was thrilled to have dessert for breakfast! She had some left to take home. I had the Chocolate Chip Pancakes and they were amazing as well! You should give them a visit! We will definitely be back!

Such a great brunch place and the biscuits are easily the best part of every menu item here! 10/10 atmosphere, just be prepared for the long waits

Nice little restaurant tucked away in a shopping center along the river. You can barely see the river anymore!

We had been to the original Mama’s Boy restaurant several times over the past 4 years, but this was our first time at the Macon Highway location. Despite a 1 hour wait due to the graduation crowd, it was well worth it. We started out with the banana bread and goat cheese appetizers. Both were excellent. For our main dishes I got the pulled pork bowl (the photos show everyone’s dishes), which was great! I’m not a big biscuit fan, but these are hands down the best I’ve ever had and I always look forward to them. Considering the huge crowd they had to serve, the staff was efficient, friendly, and attentive. I almost wish our son was not graduating so we could come back.

For the price I wasn’t impressed. I had the peach french toast. The peaches weren’t ripe and the french toast was a tad stale. The bacon was not great, neither were the eggs. The biscuit which I’ve heard great things about was flavorless and stale. It wasn’t flakey like a biscuit, and it wasn’t like a roll. It wasn’t bad, everything was just underwhelming.

Wow! Wow! High quality food with unique flavors. The Peach French Toast was astounding. And the Sausage Hash Bowl had savory flavors. The place was packed with customers which was a healthy sign of quality food.

I stopped in at Mama’s Boy at The Falls in Oconee County to grab a bite to eat on my way home. I was pretty hungry and it’s been a long time since I went out to eat so I decided what the heck. I didn’t want to go to Waffle House or someplace like that that. They don’t really have any healthy options. So I got out my phone and look for restaurants near me. I should’ve known that Mama’s Boy was the closest place that served a good breakfast. So that’s where I went. I got there early before 8 o’clock and was happy to see that it wasn’t too crowded. There were several people already waiting but I got served pretty quickly. I did notice when I got ready to leave that they were much busier. There were probably 20 people outside the door waiting for a table. I guess i got there at just the right time.

I ordered curbside. Arrived. Followed the directions on the sign, sending my name and space number. Waited 15 minutes for curbside service. Nothing. Went inside and my food had been sitting at the front counter while two employees stood around chatting. Food was cold
