Based on the recent reviews this place needs a makeover and an intervention. They should figure out what kind of food they want to serve. The inside looks like someone moved in . There was a booth filled with belongings and paperwork.

Ordering a sub and fries. Will let you know. The cheese sub was passable. Yes meat was a little dry and tuff. And the fries were ok. The man and lady running the restaurant were very, very nice. I did not have pizza. Almost recommended. I probably will go back sometime and try the pizza.

Not good, ordered Buffalo wings, got wings with marinara sauce on them? Pizza was soggy, sauce pretty bad, and not fully cooked. Ordered mozzarella sticks with marinara, but no marinara. Do not recommend. Sorry…

It is a nice little family run food venue. The atmosphere is low key and more authentic than what you would find around the area. The food is extremely good. I tried the mini bacon pizza which was great but alot of people who came into the business tended to grab Philly cheese steaks which not only looked great but smelled equally as tasty. I plan to try one when I return here!

Sammy was very friendly and he offered suggestions. I ordered a small pie with sausage, pepperoni, onions and black olives and the pizza was very good. The only thing I will change is I will ask to cook it about 5more minutes for me; I like a more crunchy crust. The pizza was not greasy and not over powering sauce. I will be back.

I grew up going to Mama Mia, I loved the place, and went there out of nostalgia recently. The smell of pizza was still there, but the owners are different and the food offerings are different, being that of hispanic cuisine as opposed to subs, however they still had pizza.

My fiancé and I were doing a photo shoot in old town Alexandria for a few hours and we hadn’t eaten all day. We stumbled upon Mama Mias and decided to ask if they had slices. They have even better. Sicilian style pizza in four little slices for 8 bucks. The cheese was superb and the sauce had a slight kick that was perfect. Great crust too. There’s a carry out window you can order right from the sidewalk. Give a try it’s a pretty solid pie.

Our meals were awful. We ordered for delivery spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs, a small pepperoni pizza and a steak and mushroom sub. I ordered a small side salad and asked for olives on it, but that wasn’t included in our order. The spaghetti leaked out into the bag and the sauce was absolutely not a meat sauce. It smelled strangely and the noodles completely fell apart (overcooked). There was a large salad included so I assume they just combined the two small salads into one large, but the requested olives were missing. The pizza was undercooked and flavorless. The crust was basically cardboard. The sub was ok, aside from the huge onions that were barely grilled.

The owner Sammy is very friendly. His pizzas fresh out of the oven are delicious. This is the only pizza I actually like the crust.
