The more popular flavors are always available for scooping and about 1/3 of the offers flavors get rotated on a consistent basis. We also offer pints and half gallons available for carry out, and 3 gallon buckets available via special order. We currently do not carry an gluten-free, sugar-free, or dairy-free options

I used to go to Mama Lupos all the time during the summer and enjoyed their variety of ice cream and other food to eat. Today, no one greeted us upon entering the door and the sign says cash only. There was only 5 flavors of ice cream in dirty appearing pails and no flavors a child or adults would find appealing in my opinion. No options for those who have any kind of allergies. Will not be returning and a childhood memory ruined for me.

Mama Lupos is always a staple when we visit Bay City. From the fresh made waffle cone aroma to the interesting and large selection of flavors, everyone finds something they love. I first got mama lupos when I moved here three years ago and moved right down the road. I fell in love with the ice cream and the atmosphere. Especially there Banana cream pie ice cream. Today I was greeted by the Mama herself what a sweet lady. And even though there was no banana cream pie they still had a banana option and another favorite vanilla cherry. ❤️❤️ A must stop if you come to Bay City.

It’s been a few years since we’ve visited Mama Lupo’s. I’m sure they change flavors regularly, but at this visit, we didn’t find anything that really tickled our fancy. I had lemon curd ice cream, and the hubbs had black cherry. He enjoyed his, but nothing special. Mine was OK. The cost per single cone was just over $5. For the price, I prefer other homemade ice cream options available in Bay City. The staff was very quick even though it was pretty busy. They offered samples, which I tried watermelon and lemon curd.

Good selection, friendly service, generous portion, and most importantly great ice cream! We tried Mama’s camel hump and Mama’s English toffee and they are both very good. Camel hump is vanilla based with peanut butter and cookie dough, highly recommend! There are a few benches inside and tables outside to enjoy the treats.
