Great food however they can get really slammed when there’s an event next door. Take out can take a while. I was very surprised at the chicken wings they were unique and good. The sauce appears to be homemade and was also unique and surprisingly good. Green beans apparently were fresh which is great except there was a sharp stem in mine. Otherwise they were probably some of the best green beans I’ve ever had.

I had the two meat sampler Meatloaf fried chicken w/Mac n cheese greens & cornbread. The food was delicious & affordable. Only thing the cornbread was a lil sweet and small in size but overall great food.

I can’t say enough about Mama G’s!! Made with love, fresh ingredients and home made …..absolutely delicious!! We had fried catfish, the best we’d eaten, collard greens, green beans, sweet potatoes and sweet cornbread…we were sad when we got full!

Some of the best soul food we have ever eaten (and we’ve eaten a lot of it)! All of the sides were wonderful and the shrimp and fish were cooked to order. Would 10/10 recommend. Great prices and wonderful service. Also, if you’re like us and are having a hard time finding them, it’s in the very back of the building in the metro sometbing or other behind Where House Bar.
