What a lovely gem. Our family absolutely had a wonderful experience. Waitress great and welcoming and the food spot on. Smelled so good , I almost forgot to take a picture. The Blueberry pancakes with Maine maple syrup, top notch!

” little gem ” does not come close to describing the experience we had, this is the BEST café, me or my wife has ever eaten at. The atmosphere was cozy, the waitresses were very nice and very swift. The food was absolutely on point!!!

Another little gem. Lucky that was opened since almost everything is close for the season. Good food, service, atmosphere. Excellent coffee.

Cozy environment, great food, reasonable prices. What’s not to love? The service we had was really good too. Our daughter loved their booster seat.

We ate here 3 or 4 times on our Honeymoon in Boothbay. Absolutely wonderful service and tasty specials! We ordered from the specials menu every day, I believe, and were never disappointed. It’s a little crowded, but that’s usually a tell-tale sign that you’ve found a local favorite. Here’s our favorite way to breakfast here: sit at the bar, pour yourself a joe, order from the specials board, walk around a look at some of the local publications and handmade pieces from local artists, and definitely order some of the baked goods to go!

We visited Mama D’s on a Saturday morning. The waitlist was a little chaotic, as there were people entering from both the back and front doors. We were seated after around 10 minutes on the back deck. The restaurant was super busy, and the waitstaff did seem somewhat flustered. It took a while for us to get our coffee, and then there was a mixup where the table next to us got our food and started eating it. Once we had the food, it was delicious — loved my waffle! Overall not a 100% experience, but would probably return.

Pretty straightforward breakfast spot, with a homey/folksy vibe. Nice that it doesn’t have tourist prices. Hash brown were a little dry…
